John Rangel, 5’11” 165, Ridge Point
John explodes out of his cuts at the top of his route, he’s got good wiggle after the catch and shows the vision to find smaller cutback lanes. He’s a burner who has the speed to take the top off a defense and can go up & get the football at its highest point. This young man is fun to watch with the ball in his hands.
Zion Harness, 5’10” 150, Lake Belton
An explosive returner that can create with little help, he has the speed to run by squatting corners and is a natural tracking throws of twenty yards plus. He has instant stop & start ability to make you miss, and will run with power when the time calls for it.
Jonathan Barnes Jonathan Barnes 6'0" | 180 lbs | RB TX 6’1″ 180, Duncanville
A possession receiver with strong hands, tip-top route running ability, and the body control to adjust to poor throws that are placed in front or behind him. Barnes goes up and attacks the football at its highest point, he can lull you to sleep before kicking it into top gear and has the strength to muscle right through arm tackle attempts.
Henry Lamar Brooks Jr., 6’1″ 160, Cy-Fair
Brooks can honestly play on either side of the ball and will generate game-changing plays at both safety and wide receiver. He does a good job shooting his hands late and shows strong hands through contested matchups. He can adjust to poor throws midflight, he’s a deceptive route runner who knows how to mix in different route speeds, and is a YAC machine in space.
Aden Starling Aden Starling 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR Iowa Colony | 2027 State TX 6’1″ 180, Iowa Colony
Starling has hands like glue and catches everything within the framework of his body. He has the burst to separate at the top of his route, he knows how to get friendly and work back to his quarterback & doesn’t shy away from going up and getting the football in dangerous waters.
Christian Totten, 6’2″ 160, Red Oak
A longer z receiver prospect that should fill out his frame nicely over the next three seasons. Totten has enough speed to run away from the defense, he’s quite sudden out of his breaks and has natural hands to pluck the football out of the air.
Erick Reese, 5’9″ 160, Denton Guyer
A flat-out dynamic playmaker who could make you miss in a phonebooth and not lose any speed doing so. Reese catches the football and immediately gets vertical, he’s a nightmare to guard out of the slot if 2nd level defenders don’t get hands-on to disrupt his speed and is a patient runner inside the tackles or out on the perimeter.
