<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1272796' first='Ja'Von' last='Bouldin'], Atrisco Heritage</strong>: Bouldin is one of the top young linebackers in Albuquerque. He saw action for the varsity last season and finished with 2 tackles for loss and 1 sack. He'll compete for a starting job in 2024. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1272735' first='Noah' last='Brewer'], Capital</strong>: With Capital going ‘All In' with the passing dominated Air Raid offense, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound Brewer has the potential to enjoy a huge season for the Jaguars.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1248664' first='Cooper' last='Cecil'], Hope Christian</strong>: Cecil is an emerging offensive linemen for the Huskies. He impressed the coaches at the Prep Redzone Combine in Grants last month. He's also an excellent track & field athlete in the throwing events. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1248683' first='Lorenzo' last='Lucero'], Aztec</strong>: Lucero is a promising CB for the Tigers. He saw action with the varsity in 2023 and contributed 6 tackles. He'll take on a bigger role in 2024.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1272749' first='Cody' last='Hood'], Santa Fe</strong>: Demons head coach Andrew Martinez said Santa Fe has lacked a dominant run stuffer in the middle of the defensive line. The 28-pound Hood could fill that role in 2024. Expectations are high.</p>

<p><strong>Jayden Leyba-Moya, Pojoaque Valley</strong>: Pojoaque Valley has a large group of promising young players. Leyba-Mora is a scatback RB for the Elks. He showed good speed and skills at the Prep Redzone Combine in Grants. </p>

<p><strong>Julian Madera-Lopez, Albuquerque High</strong>: Madera-Lopez was promoted to the varsity late last season and started at free safety. He'll compete for the starting QB job and possibly contribute in the secondary again. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1248668' first='Douglas' last='Mitchell'], Grants</strong>: Mitchell is a powerful 5-foot-9, 190-pound RB for the Pirates. He'll rejoin a talented Grants RB corps for 2024.</p>
