<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1267000' first='Hagstrom' last='Danny'], Farmington</strong>: One of the top outside linebackers in the Four Corners, Danny (6-0, 175) had 43 tackles, including an impressive 13.0 TFL, and 1 INT as a sophomore in 2023. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1266538' first='Gabriel' last='Fernandez'], Albuquerque High</strong>: Fernandez is the Bulldogs' top returning receiver for 2024. He is also the kickoff specialist as he contributed in multiple ways in 2023 and should do the same thing again. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1267029' first='Landon' last='Littleben'], Crownpoint</strong>: Crownpoint doesn't get a lot of coverage but they have a solid football program with good athletes. Littleben had 44 tackles, 2 INT, 4 passes defended, 2 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries. In short, he's all over the field. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1266443' first='Daimian' last='Zamora'], Rio Rancho</strong>: After seeing varsity action as a sophomore in 2023, the 6-foot-1 Zamora is expected to step up and become one of Rio Rancho's best defensive ends in 2024. He had 4 QB hurries last season, proving he knows how to get to the QB. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1248716' first='Matthew' last='Romero'], Pojoaque Valley</strong>: Romero filled a variety of roles for the improving Pojoaque Valley Elks in 2023, and this year should be no different. He should be one of PV's best defensive players. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1267039' first='Josh' last='Barajas'], Bernalillo</strong>: Barajas contributed to all three phases for Bernalillo in 2023, particularly on special teams where he averaged 24.4 yards on seven kickoff returns. He also carried the ball 16 times and played defense, where he had two TFL and 1 sack. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1248676' first='Joseph' last='Clawson'], Grants</strong>: Clawson was outstanding for the Bernalillo defense in 2023 as he made 40 tackles with 3.0 TFL, 3 sacks and 3 QB hurries. Potential be become a difference maker for the Pirates defense.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1250000' first='Jesus' last='Olvera'], Deming</strong>: Olvera emerged as s solid offensive and defensive linemen for Deming last season. Last month he finished tied for first in his weight class (220 pounds) at the state powerlifting championships. He's a strong dude. Olvera will likely play guard for the Wildcats. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1267033' first='Prestin' last='Day'], St. Pius X</strong>: The Sartans' roster is full of intriguing young players and Clark is one of them. As a sophomore DB in 2023, he made 23 tackles with 4 passes defended. He also returned kickoffs and punts. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1266328' first='Brody' last='Clark'], La Cueva</strong>: One thing we know about Clark is he's incredibly strong. Last summer, before his sophomore season, he was already deadlifting 500 pounds. He finished fourth in his weight class (220 pounds) at the state powerlifting championships. Clark will bring some muscle to the fields for the defending 6A champion Bears.</p>
