He finished the season with a QBR of 136.9 and averaging over 20 yards per attempt; but it wasn't just the stats that stood out. Watching his film, Young seems very calm in the pocket and has an ability to feel the rush without taking his eyes off his receivers downfield. What stood out most was his effortless touch, whether on the run or launching it deep, his throws are on the money. He's quick enough to avoid defenders who break into the backfield and showed some really sharp accuracy when throwing on the run. With impeccable upper-half mechanics and some decent footwork to go with it, Young is a player I could see garnering lots of attention as the game continues to slow down for him in his senior year. With his quick twitch he doesn't need to be in the open field to make defenders miss with ease. Burras finished his junior season just shy of 1,500 yards on the ground with a whopping 23 rushing (35 total) touchdowns. When dropping back to pass he has some unrefined mechanics but still delivers a very catchable ball. He has a tendency to let his front side fly open slightly early which can make it difficult to generate power in his throws. Whether he's asked to block, run a route, return a kick, or cover a kick, Brown can be found working his hardest to get that job done. A receiver who's regularly putting defenders in the dirt on blocks is extremely rare to find, but Higley has found one in Brown. He does an excellent job in open space with the ball in his hands and strikes a nice balance of getting as many yards as possible while still trying to make defenders miss. Lined up at receiver, Brown clearly has a good football IQ and, in particular, truly understands where and how to attack zone defenses. With his explosion in the backfield, he's rarely ever brought down behind the line of scrimmage. Once he navigates his way through the trenches he has another gear that other players on the field just can't match. It's more than just the speed though, it's how quickly he gets up to speed that allows him to break away. Nix shows some nice balance and for a shifty player like himself, he's not at all afraid to lower his shoulder when the situation calls for it. Whether it be training privately or attending large camps to get more eyes on him, he's been honing his craft relentlessly. Cornell recently picked up his first offer to Lake Forest College after their mega-camp earlier this month, and that's likely the first of many for the speedy defensive back. With some good length, Cornell does a nice job of making sure receivers aren't more than an arm's length away and he possesses some impressive makeup speed if he does fall behind a step. With some room to add some weight on his frame, he still manages to stand his ground against the bigger and more physical receivers.
