There are a lot of talented football players in the state of New Jersey, as the Garden State is annually considered by most experts to be a top-10 state when it comes to producing talent that goes on to play at the next level. However, the Linebacker position is one that hasn't seen a ton of homegrown talent make it, and succeed, at the NFL level. Only Brian Cushing of Bergen Catholic (Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2009) and Gary Brackett of Glassboro (Super Bowl Champion) have become household names over the past two decades. Here's a look at three class of 2028 Linebackers that I think could receive a verbal offer early in their high school careers...and hopefully make it even further.
