Before the dust settles from the HS spring session and college camp showcases, recruits eagerly anticipate the upcoming season. With new talent emerging and established players stepping up their game, there are plenty of notable stock risers who deserve recognition. These athletes have put in the work and have seen an uptick in offers/interest. Let's take a closer look at some top performers ready to shine this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1314015' first='Chris' last='Denson'] | QB | 2025 | Plant City | @chrisdenson03

Talk about a spring beat down. Things got out of hand as Plant City defeated King HS 82-7 as 2025 Coastal Carolina commit [player_tooltip player_id='1314015' first='Chris' last='Denson'] threw for 5 first-half TDs. One of the top QBs in the area, Denson has a good frame, footwork to move around the pocket, and arm talent to put the ball where it needs to be.

Demontia Hudson | ATH | 2026 | Pasco | @Demontia_1

This kid is really starting to find his footing as the offers have rolled in following a productive offseason. Hudson has been a notable standout at various 7v7 tournaments this offseason. He made plays on both sides of the ball and has proved to be one of the better under-the-radar 2026 prospects in the area. Watch out for Hudson to be a true riser and have a productive season for his high school.

Ayden Wallace | QB | Class of 2026 | Lakewood | @aydendwall16

Wallace has found a new home at Lakewood HS where he is growing into a leader for this talented offense. Wallace looked good in a blowout spring game win where he threw for 270 yards with 4 first half touchdowns. This kid has truly developed his game and the confidence is starting to show.

[player_tooltip player_id='829522' first='Uriah' last='Maynard'] | RB | 2025 | East Ridge | @UriahMaynard1

This kid is on the radar to make some noise as he dominated at our PRZ and is now set for a big-time senior season. Just check the spring game stats: 18 ATT - 130 YDS - 7 YPC. Maynard is a versatile running back prospect that can run hard between the tackles or break outside with solid speed but the added ability to catch the ball from the backfield is notable as well.

JC Mirasola | QB | 2025 | Plant | @JcMirasola

Had to add this kid to the list as he added a couple notable offers this offseason. JC is fresh off a productive junior season where he showed a lot of progression in his overall game. He has a natural release and solid footwork that he works on. Look out for a big-time senior year for Mirasola who's looking to lock in college interest.

Armani Sullivan | DB | 2025 | Boca Ciega | @armanisullivan_

Talk about stamping your name as the real deal. This kid has been a notable standout in the offseason period but made it known not to throw his way this season last night with 2 INTs and one returned for 90-yards. At 6-2, 190-pounds, college coaches need to get eyes on Sullivan this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1134246' first='Juan' last='Berchal'] | DB | 2025 | Seminole | @JuanBerchal

One of the top playmakers from last night's string of spring games, Berchal made an impact all over the field at the defensive back position. He came up with 3 pass breakups, 5 total tackles, a forced fumble, and a return TD. That's the definition of a playmaker. Berchal is a talented defensive back prospect who has picked up big-time Power 5 offers. Let's watch out for his progression in the off-season and his performance during the summer camp period.

Cory Butler | 2025 | WR | Bartow | @whoiscb10

Butler finished as my DOG of the day. This kid is a playmaker and can back it up in various aspects. I've already been impressed with his strong hands and decent route running but the blocking ability and flat-out killer 1v1 session have locked him in on the real deal breakout list. I'd expect him to keep building chemistry with new QB1 [player_tooltip player_id='1022076' first='Blake' last='Johnson'] where he can go for big-time numbers this season. The two connected for two touchdown passes last night with one called back.

[player_tooltip player_id='865757' first='Daniel' last='Terry'] | QB | 2028 | ZCA | @DanielTerryQB1

I think ZCA has found their QB for the future as the program has landed a 2028 stud QB prospect with plenty of time to build on. He helped seal an 18-10 win for the Warriors who defeated Tampa Catholic in their spring game event. This kid is still an 8th grader who will have the resources and time to work on his overall game to be a problem under-center for this team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1224582' first='Leland' last='Beckford'] | LB | 2025 | Treasure Coast | @LelandBeckford

Beckford is a physical and good-framed linebacker prospect who made some noise for his squad during the spring period. He's a hard worker that has seen some interest from college programs in the offseason. Still some time to work on his frame and technique but keep an eye on Beckford to continue to progress.

TWO YOUNG PUPS

Jyree McNeil | ATH | 2027 | The Villages | @McneilJyree

Omari Hill | ATH | 2027 | The Villages | @Omari2wavy

Both of these young men will be a problem for years to come. McNeil had a TD reception and an interception while Hill showed off great upside to build on for the future.
