Daniel Terry
About Daniel
Expert Analysis

Daniel Terry the 6’0 170 pound QB out of Wesley Chapel has the ability to get in done with his feet and in the air. Terry is elusive in the pocket and is fun to watch when he rolls out for a throw and makes defenders miss and makes a big play. Although Terry can get it done in the air he shows a lot of ability to use his legs and looks to be a true dual threat. Terry has the ability to make big throws while being pressured in the pocket and seems calm under pressure. This is a great attribute to have as a young QB along with the great mechanics and playmaking ability he already has.

‘s most recent field action started off with a 53 yard scamper out of the gun evading tackler after tackler setting the tone for his team out the gate this week. His growth is evident not just at the Quarterback position, but physically gaining a few more inches and some pounds to go with it over the past year. Terry is flirting with 6’0 and a little over 170 lbs. This dual threat signal caller is smooth in his drops, and spins it with confidence. Whether your his primary target or a running back slipping out the backfield, Terry will find the open man and shows great poise by not being careless with the football. His body continues to speak for itself.

– Another prospect I’ve been keeping an eye on from afar, Terry did a great job for the Florida Future Stars 7th Grade Team
– Proved to be one of the best players, regardless of class, at the entire event. At 5-foot-10 and 155 pounds, the future is extremely bright for him at the quarterback position
– Showed off a ton of dual-threat ability with a number of touchdowns with his legs and arm during the two games he played
– In Florida’s loss to Georgia in the championship game, he left it all on the field. Scored a pair of rushing touchdowns and made some big time throws. I came away very impress with his body of work

Terry was the quarterback I noticed right away while watching the seventh-grade Florida Future Stars team practice. Was significantly bigger than when I saw him last year at this event, both taller and with a much more developed frame. Took really nice drops after receiving the snap and was able to throw the ball to all spots on the field during practice.
