Terry is putting together one of the more productive seasons in the class, with 1,917 passing yards and 17 touchdown passes listed on MaxPreps. The 6-2 frame and athleticism give him an appealing foundation, and he has the arm strength to attack vertically and stress defenses downfield. Also leads the team in rushing with 289 yards and 3 TDs. He’s comfortable extending plays when the pocket breaks down and can create opportunities outside of structure. The talent is there, and his production shows he’s making the most of his opportunity at Gaither.

Terry may be the most electric quarterback in the area when it comes to what he can do on a Friday night. He can push the ball downfield with his arm, create outside of structure and extend plays when things break down. That playmaking ability is what makes him so intriguing. Terry transferred to Gaither after putting together a big sophomore season at Wiregrass Ranch, where he threw for 2,578 yards and 23 touchdowns while adding 364 rushing yards. He’s already receiving Division I interest, but I still think there is another level to his game as he continues to develop. College coaches should be on him. 

Terry is a legit QB prospect and one of the better ones not just in the area but in the state I believe. As stated, he’s always been a versatile athlete but the attention to details and the fundamentals at the position has him as a top riser right now for me. Finished with 235 yards and six total touchdowns in week one. His move to Gaither is going to pay off with the weapons around him and his attitude and game play can now elevate his and others’ output. Watch out for the Cowboys who have a favorable schedule. 

First live action with his new program went really well for Terry before starting his junior season. Have watched him look impressively versatile for a few years now and he looked really good behind center last season but the kickoff classic confirmed what college staff are seeing on film. Finished with 4 passing TDs and 1 rushing in just the first half for this Gaither offense. Watch out for him and this program to make a statement.
