Prep Redzone Next Combine: Top Quarterbacks

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>At the North Carolina Prep Redzone Next Combine, there were some good middle school quarterbacks that were in attendance and did some impressive things throwing the football. We will take a quick look at the top performers:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>18 - [player_tooltip player_id='1616143' first='Ryan' last='Rizzuti'] - Holy Trinity - The left-handed thrower shared that he is headed to Myers Park High School in Charlotte. Ryan was a very technically sound quarterback. He had some good velocity on his throws and showed some consistent accuracy throughout the entire camp. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br>36 - [player_tooltip player_id='1111451' first='Christian' last='Smith'] - East Garner Middle - Christian won the Longest Throw competition at the end of the camp. I think Christian shows some good potential to be a quarterback who can throw the football deep down the field for big plays in the future. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br>14 - Landen Perry - Wake Forest - I was impressed with Landen throughout the entire showcase. Landen showed great poise and timing in throwing the football, especially during the 1 on 1 portion of the camp. I am excited to see how Landen progresses in the future. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br>40 - [player_tooltip player_id='1136494' first='Jayden' last='Del Rosario'] - Ravenscroft - Jayden was very good with his agility while working on rollout throws during quarterback individual drills. I could possibly see him become a dual-threat kind of quarterback in the future. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br>26 - AJ Kemp - Topsail Middle - Very good with his fundamentals and a smooth over-the-top delivery when throwing the football.
