I love the upside, as there are plenty of DL prospects in attendance that if they can make a bigger effort to grow their frames in the weight room, they have a good shot at the next-level. Under the radar is another few words I would use, as there was more instinctive movement than I expected to see out of some of these prospects.
Dreyson is a DL prospect I saw quick development in live evaluations back to back weeks in Sioux Falls and Minot. Although undersized at the moment, you can tell Dreyson has plenty of upside especially with the growing power with his hands and technique I got to watch. He has the natural athleticism to progress positionally on both sides of the ball and the fluidity with his athletic movement checks those positional flexibility boxes. Dreyson is certainly one you will see on our radar upcoming in the 2027 rankings coming soon. Twitter

Aaron was 2nd team All-Camp Team for defensive line, as he is one that has made some growth since watching him during the 2023 season. Where that growth was seen was with his position angles as I felt he grasped a more instinctively to get off shedding blocks. He has grown efficiency attacking the off-hip of the blocker drawing off their balance as that was seen from game to combine in Sioux Falls. He also shows well-versed strength that I believe doesn’t get enough credit for the 6’2 200 pound size he plays with in the trenches. Aaron is an Outstate Minnesota defensive prospect to watch that has positional flexibility at the next-level. Twitter
Some prospects just pop out in 1v1s and you don’t even have time to put it on paper, which was the case with 2026 defensive linemen

of Sioux Falls Lincoln. The big motor and developing hand positioning caught my eyes at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine. Reuben also showed off impressive length with his reach on that particular rep. Despite not many DL reps on tape, the ceiling Reuben has in my eyes has promise as there is some skillsets that translate. Getting the weight room will be key for this young man, as he is headed to play with the 11AAA champions in 2024. Twitter

. A first team All-Camp nominee, the explosion of Jayden’s first step he showed off showed me he is due for a rise up. I also loved prospects that come in right on par with their measurables and that consistency was across the board too with his testing numbers. Jayden was one of top defensive linemen in the short shuttle which is impressive with his 6’0 238 pound frame. His hands are combative with excellent pad-level and have great instinct when they pull off and go. The Arrows might have my favorite DL duo in the state in the 2025 class with Jayden and

as Jayden certainly will get some opportunities this summer at the next-level.

Elijah was a defensive linemen that from our last SD Combine, I thought showed off higher amounts of growth than I expected. I was especially impressed with his footwork, as he certainly showed off more balance and smoother technique with his reps I got to watch. He also showed off better pad-level with his hands than I recall watching last time around in Aberdeen. Elijah also saw himself jump up a level on our All-Camp Team, as one you can tell that has put in the work and has a shot at the next-level. Twitter
