Region I-3A has a couple of the most dynamic players in the state, and a ton of guys who can put up huge numbers on any given night. Here's a look at some of the players we think can contend for their team MVP honors in the 2024 season.

Belton-Honea Path Bears

[player_tooltip player_id='605525' first='Marquise' last='Henderson'] RB, 2025

This is about as close to a gimme as we can get. Henderson (pictured) is a phenomenal back, and helped lead the Bears to the 3A Upper State title game last season. Some key pieces have departed, but the Bears have a ton of talent back on both sides of the ball, with Henderson leading the way. Last year, he accounted for more than 2,300 yards and 37 TDs on the ground, adding two more receiving TDs. He's explosive, and he runs with balance, power, and vision. He's on everybody's list, and ours is no exception.

Crescent Tigers

[player_tooltip player_id='1254209' first='Dylan' last='Dale'] ATH, 2025

Crescent has a couple of guys who could fill this spot. [player_tooltip player_id='391249' first='Darius' last='Latimer'] is a dynamic back, and [player_tooltip player_id='1254123' first='Jake' last='Duncan'] is a force on the line on both sides of the ball. But Dale is an interesting dude. He was in a region absolutely loaded at QB last season, so he's flying a little bit under the radar. He's got a good arm, a quick release, and excellent mobility. That, in fact, is where he shines, as he can absolutely kill teams with his legs. He also logged time at receiver last season. Offensively, Dale can truly do it all for crescent.

Pendleton Bulldogs

[player_tooltip player_id='1157733' first='Abijah' last='Webb'] ATH, 2025

Webb is a gamebreaker. Great speed, great hands, and the ability to do a little bit of everything sets him apart. Last season, he notched more than 1,000 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns as the Bulldogs' No. 2 receiver. This year, he's unquestionably No. 1. He's also deceptively strong, squatting more than 500 pounds. Whether it's down the field, in traffic, or making defenders miss and creating on his own, Webb is a problem.

Walhalla Razorbacks

[player_tooltip player_id='867240' first='Silas' last='Parish'] DB, 2025

Parish is a stat machine for Walhalla. He recorded 162 tackles, 12 for loss, forced six fumbles, and picked off a pass last season. On the offensive side of the ball and on special teams, he picked up 575 all-purpose yards and scored four times. Parish is fast, he's physical, and he's almost always around the play, wherever it may be on the field.

West-Oak Warriors

Lucas Moore DE, 2026

The Warriors were much improved last year, but graduated a dozen seniors who had impact on both sides of the ball. They're looking to reload, and Moore can be an anchor up front for them. He's solid, he moves well, and he's got a great first step. He's shown a knack for making stops behind the line of scrimmage, and can help the Warriors against the run in particular.
