We had some outstanding talent all across the state of Oklahoma and even some of the surrounding states. We have a ton of coverage from the event dropping on Prep Redzone Next! In this post, we're putting the spotlight on the quarterback position. We had another great group of quarterbacks this weekend and they all brought something different to the table. From rocket arms to tremendous improvement, we saw a little bit of everything. Victory Christian 2028 signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='485894' first='Maddox' last='Young'] was covered earlier this week in our positional MVP article.

[player_tooltip player_id='1264886' first='Boston' last='Hamilton'] - 2029 - Claremore

Claremore 2029 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1264886' first='Boston' last='Hamilton'] was the first of two quarterbacks on this breakdown that we were familiar with because of his work in 7v7. Hamilton stood out to us at the C4 tournament in Durant back in late March and the lefty helped lead his team to the division championship there. So we were pumped to get another look at him this weekend in a camp setting. Hamilton was right there with some of the other top performers at the quarterback position. He did well in the different rills and the lefty can really spin the ball. He has one more year of middle school before we'll see him at the high school level but as he continues to mature physically, we anticipate he'll be one of the better quarterbacks in the area for his class.

Isaiah Butcher IV - 2028 - Jenks

Here's a perfect example of why I love working these camps. We get to see names that we didn't already know about. Jenks 2028 quarterback Isaiah Butcher IV was a quarterback that we didn't know about coming into the camp on Saturday and he was one of the first quarterbacks that we noticed. It began with his physical make up as he passes the eye test immediately. It continued during the testing portion of the camp and then went to the next level during the drills and competition portion of camp. Butcher was one of the top performers from the quarterback position on Saturday and he's going to be a name to watch moving forward. And he'll be a freshman at arguably the best high school football program in the state this fall.

Landen Gonzalez - 2028 - Sand Springs

Sand Springs 2028 quarterback Landen Gonzalez is another signal caller we're familiar with because of the 7v7 circuit. We first saw him last year at our very first 7v7 tournament. We watched him in two tournaments this year and came away impressed with his development. So like Hamilton, we were fired up to get another look at him in a camp setting where he can showcase his arm talent. And that talent is up there as he probably had one of the strongest arms in attendance. And that's what we took away from watching him on the 7v7 circuit. His arm is an absolute rocket and he has impressed us every time we watched him in person. Gonzalez can absolutely spin it and that was on full display throughout the camp on Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1167484' first='Michael' last='Kent'] - 2028 - Bartlesville

Bartlesville 2028 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1167484' first='Michael' last='Kent'] has really looked good at both of our camps this year. He was one of the top performers at the PRZ-Next camp back in January and then he came again this weekend and earned top performer status once again. Kent has a really good arm already and impressed the coaches in attendance. He was working with the same coach that he had back in January and the coach mentioned to us about the solid improvement he's made in just three months. Kent is going to be a name to look out for as he moves up to the high school level. He isn't the biggest quarterback on this breakdown but his arm strength is right there at the top. He had another solid performance on Saturday in Tulsa.
