MIAA Catholic Conference Show Day: New Names & Stock Risers

A prospect not known to me prior to this event grabbed my attention with his fluidity, crisp routes, quick feet, and soft hands. He displayed a burst into the route, one-step cuts, impeccable catching ability, and the ability to separate himself from defenders with elusiveness. He is a prospect lacking season film due to a transfer ruling that kept him out of action during the 2023 season. He was solid in the drill period, and his technique stood out. He stands approximately 6'2 with obvious strength in his upper body. I see him as a high-level inside defensive lineman at the college level. He recorded a 4.45 hand-timed 40-yard sprint. He is a new prospect who was unknown to me prior to this event. He attended Doherty Memorial in fall 2022 is what I know on this WR. He now attends St Johns Shrewsbury in Massachusetts. Displayed decent hands during 1on1's. He is a bit raw in technique and appears to be a developmental prospect that could become an interesting, high-demand prospect after all is said and done. He took reps as a DB and was on a lockdown mission during his showday. Standing at 5'8, he displayed obvious physicality and grit. He pressed many WRs at the line of scrimmage during 1 on 1's sessions and was successful in denying those receivers the ability to get into their routes and get separation. He can flip his his in either direction quickly and fluidly with obvious speed. I last saw him live during spring 2023. During his performance, he surely appeared more confident than ever in his skill set and easily stood out amongst all in attendance. He is a prospect not known to me prior to this event. He caught everything away from his body with his soft hands. He flashed an instant release off the LOS with low pad level and little wasted movement. He grabbed my attention with an obvious burst into the route, one-step cuts, impeccable catching ability, and the ability to separate himself from defenders with speed and elusiveness. He fits the slot position nicely at the college level.
