<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Back onto covering division returners; if you're not familiar with Big Central's Liberty Silver division, you should be. While the division itself is small with only 4 teams representing it, there is immense talent in those teams. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A competitive division, three of the teams stand out with returning talent that I think schools should start paying attention to. Montgomery had an extremely successful 2023 season that ended in a loss in the quarterfinals. I expect them to continue competing for the top spot, but close behind are Watchung Hills and Plainfield, which are looking to dethrone them from the top. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Eamonn Kyler","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"null","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"field_65b288425ecf6","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"2496","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"Montgomery","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Playing from a traditional outside linebacker position, Eamonn Kyler is rising talent for Montgomery. Quick on his feet, Eamonn showed last fall that he can bring a swift ending to any play with how fast he can get into the backfield. As Eamonn approaches the line he comes in low, giving him the advantage of wrapping up the runner as soon as he sees the opportunity.rnrnRacking up 58 tackles in 2023, Eamonn is sure to surpass that number and get close to doubling it next fall. There are some characteristics that really stand out in Eamonn's game. First, he has a huge wingspan that allows him to reel runners in even when they think they're in the clear. Second, he has showed he has brute strength to fight off blockers in his pursuit of the runner. While his speed may not be elite, he is a bona fide run stuffer and thrives in the box.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","fullHeight":true,"anchor":"acf-block-65411b575a0be"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/16139829/65ac7e77dfe3260538a29a5b' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-656d2413bc470"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["723582"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"One of the many two way starters that thrives on both sides of the ball, [player_tooltip player_id='723582' first='Brayden' last='Kelly'] is one of  Watchung Hills' secret weapons. You really need to get a chance to watch Brayden's film. Offensively, Brayden is an explosive target lining up out wide for a talented offensive unit. Brayden's catch capabilities is what really separates him from the rest of the receivers in the division. There are few receivers in the division that can make the catches he has. A knack for coming down with the ball in traffic, Brayden has phenomenal hand-eye coordination and has the concentration to reel the ball in even with hands in his face.rnrnDefensively, Brayden was just as impressive from the secondary. A force at all fronts, Brayden was able to pick the ball off 4 times last season and even forced 4 fumbles as well. Receivers have a tough time having any success facing off against Brayden, as he essentially plays like a receiver even when he's lined up at corner. This is a name you need to know.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65411b575a169"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/16392463/654e4825da50b80a30594a71' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-656d2413bc520"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["883312"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"A stand out athlete for Plainfield, [player_tooltip player_id='883312' first='Joel' last='Cordoba'] is a player that has gained some recognition and will continue to receive more offers when the season begins. I have been keeping my eye on Joel for the last two seasons, and everything I have seen has me believing he can be a legitimate talent at the next level. From the safety position, Joel showed excellent anticipation and the ability to sniff out the pass so he can jump the route. If Joel comes down with it, good luck catching him. He picked the ball off 5 times last season and returned 3 of those for touchdowns.rnrnNot only is Joel dangerous on the defense side of the ball, but he absolutely balled out as a receiver. Racking up 1234 yards and double digit touchdowns, Joel displayed a huge catch radius and burst of speed out of his breaks that left defenders in the dust. Already receiving offers from Duke, Pitt and UConn, Joel will continue to get recognition as the season nears.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65411b575a1de"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/17267288/6501e3273deaf609c475f77f' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6573b8a818f84"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1048201"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"The second two way star for Plainfield, [player_tooltip player_id='1048201' first='Ala-Meen' last='Watkins'] has the potential to lead his team to not only the top spot in the division, but possibly a deep playoff run as well. As the QB for a talented offense, Ala-Meen performed as a true duel threat as he passed for 10 touchdowns and ran for another 8 last season. Throwing for 1391 yards, Ala-Meen showed strong arm strength all season long. With the bigger frame, Ala-Meen is able to get his whole body into the throw and hit his man in stride deep downfield. As a runner, Ala-Meen can punish defender through his tackle breaking capabilities or by using his quickness to carve up defenders.rnrnDefensively, Ala-Meen racked up stats from the linebacker position with 35 tackles, 8.5 sacks and 2 interceptions. Ala-Meen could really play on either side of the ball at the next level. Schools like Kent State, Marshall, and Temple have taken notice, and I am sure more will follow in the upcoming months.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65411b575a24e"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/16618576/65450064176cf809940293ae' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65411b575a26c"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["918994"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"If Montgomery wants to continue their reign as the top team in the division, they'll have to rely on players like [player_tooltip player_id='918994' first='Trey' last='McFadden']. One of the better young receivers within the division, Trey displayed shiftiness in 2023 as he took the ball and was able to navigate through defenders. While he didn't put up huge numbers in 2023 (392 yards and 2 touchdowns), there's reason to believe those numbers could jump dramatically next season.rnrnWhat I find most impressive in Trey's game is his playmaking capabilities. Trey really thrives in Montgomery's offense when his QB releases it to him early on and lets him work his magic. Trey's YAC are going to jump this season. With the elusiveness and agility that Trey brings to the field, Montgomery is always one play away from a game changing play.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-660da3be5d35b"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/17901129/654926afb5362f076032471c' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-660da3be5d374"} /-->

Back onto covering division returners; if you're not familiar with Big Central's Liberty Silver division, you should be. While the division itself is small with only 4 teams representing it, there is immense talent in those teams.
