<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here at Prep Redzone we try to cover as many athletes as possible to ensure that we are shining the spotlight on everyone who deserves it. We choose interesting topics and then find the athletes who fit into those topics like school, county, region, position, or several other areas. In this article we are going to try something different. Today I have a list of athletes who only connect with each other because of one reason. That reason is simply that I want to talk about them. I feel they deserve the spotlight, so that is what I am going to give to them. Let's talk about...</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["331454"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Let's talk about the 6'1u0022 and now 300 lbs IOL out of Rockford East. Eduardo is an under the radar prospect with the talent to be a stout protector and lane opener on the interior of the OL. The big man has excellent range thanks to a strong combo of body control and nimble feet. Eduardo can quickly get across the formation or lead up to level two and hit his moving target with power. The 2025 is powerful in tight quarter as well and has several highlights showing that he can get underneath opposing DTs and collapse them down the line to open up wide lanes to run through. Eduardo has a solid base of traits to mold at the next level. His junior film is linked below.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664ff77f567a6"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/16645436/6556399ad4690b042cd254e9' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664ff77f56a38"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["831093"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Let's talk about the 6'2u0022 190 lbs WR mismatch coming out of Grayslake North. A WR with size, speed, production, and the ball skills to play at the next level. Cameron is currently dominating the IL Track u0026amp; Field season where he just PR'd in the 100M with a time of 10.89. Speed like that is enough to catch the eyes of college coaches. Speed like that on a 6'2u0022 frame should grab a lot of attention. Cameron is a mismatch nightmare that will keep DBs and DCs up at night. He erases cushions instantly and stacks the CB before pulling away and running underneath deep passes. Bates isn't just a straight line athlete, though. He has the balance to be able to use head fakes, double moves and other nuanced tricks to force DBs into bad leverage positions. His acceleration is so explosive, leaving very little room for a DB to error. To cap it all off, Cameron naturally plucks the ball out of the air with sure hands. The tape is must watch. Cameron is a top prospect in the Class of 2025 at his position.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664ff77f56b0b"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/16235374/654cf7612351ef0b54f57c03' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664ff77f56b44"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["283927"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Let's talk about a player who we have some updating to do on. Lamont is now a 6'5u0022 290 lbs OL prospect. The sophomore has made a huge stride in his growth and development over the past year. He now looks like a top notch OL recruit. Lamont fits the guard position perfectly. The massive athlete is blessed with light feet that allow him to easily pull across the formation and then deliver hard hitting blocks with heavy hands to clear running lanes. When he attacks straight ahead in the run game Lamont shows a wide, strong base and accurate, strong hands that work together to remove DTs off the line of scrimmage. Miller plays with great knee bend so he can have the leverage advantage and he finishes with the tenacious mentality you want in your OL prospects. Lamont's time is coming. Get on him early.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664ff77f56bf9"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/18456753/654da7ae2351ef0b54f5d67f' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664ff77f56c51"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["401613"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Let's talk about the 6'2u0022 180 lbs dual threat QB. A QB who is developing confidence and poise in the pocket. Karter is blessed with the athleticism to kill a defense with his legs. A lot of times we see kids lean on that too much and give up on plays. Karter doesn't show that. Instead he will stand in the pocket and face pressure before delivering the ball. He trusts his arm talents as much as his legs. Through the air Karter is an accurate passer. He relies on ball placement from the pocket and on the move to beat defenses over pure power. On the ground Karter has twitchy agility to allow him to run between the tackles and enough speed to get the edge. I'm looking forward to watching how his arm has developed over this offseason.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664ff77f56cdf"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/17727593/653eff51c124d40c94a3dbe6' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664ff77f56d12"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["801891"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Let's talk about the 5'11u0022 185 lbs sophomore who earned himself a big role on the Wheaton Warrenville South varsity team. Let's talk about how as an underclassman he stepped onto the big stage and made an impact with physicality. He proved that he can handle the dirty work of gaining the tough yards. Owen is predominantly a north-south runner. We see him find the lane and attack. The sophomore will implement jukes and quick lateral moves to give him an angle or make a man miss, but his main focus is gettin gupfiedl and gaining yards. To do that consistently you need to be able to take hits, maintain balance and keep churning those legs to more yards. Owen does that. Owen also has enough speed to pick up those big chunks if the defense lets him get to green grass. Keep an eye on Owen as he enters his junior year. I like what he has show already.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664ff77f56d9f"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/hudl {"name":"acf/hudl","data":{"embed_code":"u003ciframe src='https://www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/17972472/6545dc2b0c54db0ba4a4bca4' width='640' height='360' frameborder='0' allowfullscreenu003eu003c/iframeu003e","_embed_code":"field_62daf7995fd8c"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664ff77f56dd3"} /-->
