This is an extremely intriguing new league, consisting of three former OK-Blue teams, one OK-White team, and two OK-Gold teams. In my opinion, this is a great re-balanced league that should be competitive. So, here are six prospects who could move the needle for their team in 2024.
’25 RB/LB | Tony Phillips | GR Christian | (No Twitter found)
Tony is a solid power running back and has quite a few good LB highlights as well. Starting on the offensive side, Tony is a patient runner who is unafraid of contact. He doesn’t have the explosiveness or breakneck speed to take it the distance. Though if you’re faced with a 3rd and short, Tony can more often than not power through tackles to earn a few tough yards. He also has the vision and patience to follow his blocks and effectively run outside the tackles.
Defensively, there are a few great instances of him shooting a gap and converting a TFL. Better yet, he’s a fairly strong tackler, and tends to run through ballcarriers rather than letting the ballcarrier run through him for extra yards. There’s even a few plays where Tony converts a stop with a simple lowering of the shoulder. I don’t love that in terms of tackling, but it goes to show that he’s a powerful football player. I strongly believe that Tony’s highest ceiling is as a linebacker rather than running back. He needs to work downhill on outside runs and react to the inside run when he’s not called on to blitz. Looking forward to seeing what he’s able to do in the new-look OK-White.
’25 WR | Aaron Gholston | GR Christian | @Aaron_Gholston3
Aaron’s got some solid tape on both sides of the ball. Right off the bat, you can tell he’s an explosive athlete. His actual explosive plays are few, but I can 100% see that he’s got the athleticism and route-running to be a high-volume player. Aaron’s first highlight shows a great go route that’s converted into a 60-yard touchdown. The third highlight shows good man coverage followed by a great play on the football. There’s not too much to go off right now, but I’d love to see Aaron’s testing numbers and 1on1 performance.
’25 DL |
Edem Denoo

Edem is one of my favorite linemen in the entire OK-White, and I’m happy to see he’s received an offer from Hope. He’s a defensive end who normally lines up as a 3-4i tech. His biggest strength is his versatility, speed, and explosiveness. Half or more of his highlight tape is Edem either exploding through the line before the opposing lineman can react or blowing by linemen on a well-timed stunt. The obvious downside to this is that there isn’t much block-shedding or power shown on tape. Though it’s extremely obvious that he’s much more athletic and fit than most defensive linemen. I’d say that the MIAA is about where he belongs, and he has the potential to be a phenomenal D3 football player, or he could grind it out for a few years to earn D2 playing time.
’25 T | Dakoda Miron Dakoda Miron 6'6" | 290 lbs | OL West Catholic | 2025 MI | West Catholic | @dakoda_miron
Dakota is a very raw tackle prospect with absolutely elite size. He’s listed at 6’6″ 290 on Hudl and looks the part on film. The West Catholic offense has Dakota executing a wide variety of blocks, which is good when it comes to his recruitment. His actual skill is incredibly raw, and if he can reach average to above-average fundamentals, he could easily become a GLIAC prospect. Seriously, I’ve seen great GLIAC programs offer very raw talent and a good number of those guys develop very well. To start, Dakota stuggles a lot with staying low and driving through any block. He has the power to shove over some smaller defenders, but lacks much latch or drive on his blocks. His pass blocking footwork really needs work, but I like that he immediately puts his hands up when dropping back into his pass set. Dakota’s agility can also use a big upgrade. This is the absolute most important offseason for Dakota. There’s still time to develop, and I hope he’s a late-bloomer prospect.
’25 C | Nathaniel Nowicki Nathaniel Nowicki OL Forest Hills Eastern | 2025 MI | Forest Hills Eastern | @nathannowick1
Nathaniel does his job and does it very well as the FHE center. Most of his tape is 1on1 base/gap blocks against D-Linemen lined up head-up or just outside as a 1 tech. He does a phenomenal job of immediately winning leverage and finishing blocks through his momentum. There are also a few instances of Nathaniel chipping the defender in front of him before laying a big hit on another defender attempting to sneak into the gap. This could be a college prospect; he’s just got to show up at camps to get evaluated.
’25 RB/LB | David Britenfeld David Britenfeld ATH West Catholic | 2025 MI | West Catholic | @DBritenfeld
David served as a great two-way role player for West Catholic last season, earning time at RB and OLB. Starting off at linebacker, he plays fast and made a few good tackles on the season. When a ballcarrier rushed through his gap, David does a solid job at making the tackle. Although he makes the tackle, David rarely runs through ballcarriers and oftentimes allows the ballcarrier to run through him for a few extra yards. Sometimes, David is asked to blitz, and he does a solid job when he’s called on. I like the explosiveness and effort he brings to the blitz game. He fires out of his stance like a missile but generally struggles to work through blocks and go the extra mile to earn tackles for loss. David knows what he’s doing out there, but he needs to start playing faster and trusting himself more. Hoping for a great senior season!
