We're back with coverage of the OK-Red! So far, I've covered 13 great players representing the OK-Red. Today, we have seven more high-upside talents who'll look to take a step up next season.

'25 TE/LB/K | [player_tooltip player_id='1291334' first='A.J.' last='Park'] | Jenison | @AJ_Park9

A.J. may be the most versatile player in the entire OK-Red, as he played in all three phases. On special teams, he served as a kicker. He didn't just kick extra points either. He had a few 30-44yd field goals that show some college potential as a kicker if he works a bit harder in that area. Offensively, A.J. served as a big wide receiver who was an aggressive blocker and good jump-ball target. He also shows potential as an in-line tight end just based on his physicality. Lastly, A.J. proved to be a great outside linebacker. When he was off-ball, he played with good reactivity and pursuit. When he was an on-ball EDGE rusher, he played with a ton of physicality and decent instincts. Considering his size (6'4" 220), he has the most potential as a tight end, edge rusher, or receiver.

'25 DT | Bryce Payne | Hudsonville | @BrycePa28182996

Bryce is a solid defensive tackle who does a good job of stopping the run right up the middle. He moves very well for a self-reported 6'1" 290lbs. Bryce gets off the ball quickly, and if not immediately blocked, he can read the play and pounce on the ballcarrier. He was also able to make some good tackles as he's actively being blocked and driven left/right/backward. Moving forward, I think Bryce needs to work on his block shed technique. He heeds to work on active hands, and he could develop a good push-pull move, rip, swim, etc.

'26 WR | [player_tooltip player_id='1291351' first='Ron' last='Ferguson'] | West Ottawa | Hudl

Ron is a raw receiver prospect who needs to get more reps and get a better feel for the game. Some of his highlights are great, showing good open-field abilities with good north-south running. He's utilized in the slot very well, earning a ton of touches via sweeps, screens etc. The play at 2:23 in the tape shows some of his most glaring flaws. During this play, he receives a sweep going left. Right when he reaches the left hash, he has a ton of daylight in front of him. Instead of running through the giant hole, he continues to run all the way to the sideline for a seldom 3-yard gain.

Like I said, a lot of his film does show some good stuff. In addition to running sweeps and screens, he has his fair share of targets over the middle of the field, where Ron did a good job at catching the ball in stride and trying to move upfield. With a bit better vision and top speed, Ron could be an amazing Varsity football player.

'26 RB | [player_tooltip player_id='1291361' first='Jayden' last='Kulhanek'] | Grandville | @JaydenKulhanek

Jayden had a good JV season in 2023, and could be eyeing a starting Varsity role if he improves this offseason. He excels at working within the structure of the offense and running north-south. He also seems to care a lot about ball security, commonly running with two hands on the football. Moving forward, he needs to work on his top speed, physicality, and athletic ability before he becomes a Varsity star.

'25 RB | Easton Suidinski | Grandville | @EastonSuidinski

Easton's 2023 season was cut short due to injury, but when he was on the field, he was extremely efficient. It's also difficult to stand out as a Wing-T running back, but Easton was able to do just that. Although there is a lot of structure built into the offensive scheme, Easton consistently used his good vision to go slightly off-schedule on a few plays which he broke for an explosive touchdown. He's explosive, has great top speed, and is a pure north-south runner. I hope he's at full strength at this point, and I hope he'll attend a few offseason camps.

'26 OLB/EDGE | [player_tooltip player_id='1253825' first='Jonah' last='Broemer'] | Grand Haven | @jonahBroemer44

Jonah has plenty of great traits that will translate well when he's a full-time varsity starter. Last season, he served as a gadget player, playing several positions (LB, EDGE, H-Back, WR). One common denominator throughout every highlight is his physicality. He isn't the most physically dominant player yet, but I can tell that Jonah isn't afraid to hit and gives it his all when he's asked to block. Defensively, he shows solid instincts and plays fast. Offensively, he's a physical player but very raw as a wide receiver. With a great offseason in the weight room, he could have a breakout Junior season.

'25 LB | [player_tooltip player_id='1291363' first='Terrence' last='Kabanda'] | East Kentwood | @TerrenceKabanda

Terrence had himself a good 2023 season, racking up 75 tackles and 4TFLs. He's a solid between-the-tackles run-stopper. His eyes are always in the backfield, and once his eyes verify where the play is headed, Terrence does his best to get to the ball carrier. However, Terrence could triple his TFL numbers with better aggression and quicker reaction time. Much of the time, Terrence is caught playing stiff and waiting for the running back to come to him. As a result, the opposing offense gains 5 yards instead of being stopped at the line of scrimmage. It's a mindset and IQ thing, but if Terrence can work on practicing hard without being afraid of making mistakes, he could be a much-improved player.
