He possesses the speed profile to turn and run with any receiver, and he also aggressively flies downhill. He's got fast feet, which helps him match and mirror WRs at the line. For a thinner receiver, he flashes a physical edge that will only shine more as he gets bigger. He isn't afraid to get physical with WRs all throughout their route process, knocking them off their path and taking an option away from QBs. He is quick with his back pedal and can quickly shift his momentum back downhill to break on the football. He looks instinctual, which allows him to snap from one receiver to another. He is capable of pressing up on WRs thanks to his length and speed. He is an active, willing tackler, doing his best to work off blocks and get involved in the running game. His low center of gravity and muscled up frame projects best at RB, but he takes plenty of reps outside at WR and can make an impact at multiple levels of the field. He is explosive off the line and at the top of his route, which allows him to snap off the vertical route and separate. He is patient in his process, subtly finding open grass and vacating it. Once he gets going downhill, he is difficult to stop. He can stop and start pretty easily, and he runs with good contact balance. Love is a multi-sport athlete as well, helping win a state championship in Lacrosse. However, he is long, athletic, and still has plenty of physical development left in the tank. He is sudden and can play skinny, allowing him to jump gaps and slip off the outside shoulders of blockers to leak into the backfield. For a thinner prospect, he can anchor down well against down blocks and avoid getting washed down the line. He has good range and plays in hot pursuit of the football, allowing him to stay involved on every play and funnel the football. He stands at 6'1 170 and is well-built for his age. He has a clean delivery, throwing with all cleats in the ground and has clean arm action with little to no wasted movements. He has decent mobility, escaping pressure and possessing the arm strength needed to throw on the move. He can bomb the ball downfield and put touch on the deep ball, unlocking most areas of the field.
