He also showed a physical running style. At cornerback Penn showed good coverage skills. When the ball is thrown his way, he does a good job getting his hands on the ball and breaking up passes. As a running back he has a north-south running style. He finds the opening and explodes through it.  He has a good burst when he hits the hole as well. Gwynn also showed good speed, by running by defenders in the open field. He also showed good hands and catches the ball well out of the backfield.
