There are a ton of running backs in our rankings with some prospects already getting looks by NCAA and USports schools and primed to have very big seasons against Canada's best competition. Additionally, some of these prospects show flashes of skillsets that make them some of Canada's top prospects or even top prospects in their province. I selected several prospects to feature below but check out the full list of RB rankings in the rankings table below.

[player_tooltip player_id='881337' first='William' last='Lufiau'] & [player_tooltip player_id='1150097' first='Mika' last='Lapostolle'] - Spartiates Vieux

What will make up one of the most dynamic backfield duos in all of Canada Lufiau and Lapostolle are two top-ranked RBs with some of the best RB film in the country. Lufiau spent some time playing in America for Wyoming Seminary and the 5'11 205lb back has elite track speed and the ability to run with strength and power. Lufiau will spend this upcoming fall with Vieux Montreal and create a dangerous tandem with Lapostolle, one of the top performers in CEGEP last season. Lapostolle has a good burst and showcases the ability to fight through arm tackles with a strong lower half and an impressive quick stiff arm. Lapostolle has some otwitch to his game and the ability to change direction and combined with Lufiau's straight-line speed and power they create an impressive duo.

[player_tooltip player_id='1260677' first='Caleb' last='St. Clair'] - Huron Heights

St. Clair is a smaller back at 5'10 170lbs but he has the body that can easily add some mass and strength to his skillset as a dynamic athlete playing RB and showcasing the skills as one of Canada's top returners. St. Clair shows good speed on tape and can accelerate out of his cuts. St. Clair is best at making guys miss in space and he can change direction and explode in the open field. He has tape of him being used in a ton of creative ways and he is a playmaker with the ball in his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='852996' first='Lucas' last='Shannon'] - Clarkson Football North

A reclass from Sequam Secondary in British Columbia Shannon will be with Clarkson Football North this fall and he immediately adds to an already talented Clarkson Football North roster. Shannon was one of the best producers in British Columbia this past season and on tape, you see a player who has quick feet and really good balance as he breaks through tackles. He shows speed that can break away from the second level and is a direct runner getting upfield with limited lateral movements, one-cut and go type of RB.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150138' first='Eri' last='Olarubofin'] - Lord Beaverbrook

Out of Lord Beaverbrook, Olarubofin is a long lean RB prospect whose tape shows a physical runner who does best breaking tackles and fighting for extra yards. Olarubofin is a clear standout athletically amongst his competition which is why his tape is so dominant. He has straight-line speed to get past the second level and runs with a high motor and feet that are always moving and hands always trying to push defenders off him. Olarubofin is one of the more physical runners in this class.

[player_tooltip player_id='892381' first='Onan' last='Furst'] - Oak Park

Furst out of Oak Park is one of the top prospects in Manitoba and he showcases a well-rounded skillset showcasing the ability to make plays as a receiver out of the backfield and also be an effective runner inside the hashes. Furst has solid athleticism and runs with good contact balance and vision. Furst often makes the right reads finding open space and he can make quick lateral cuts to change direction. Furst has a well-rounded skillset and is a productive three-down back.
