Continue ReadingRaffael Thompson Cazzetta Raffael Thompson Cazzetta 6'5" | 250 lbs | DL Spartiates Vieux | 2025 State CAD – Spartiates Vieux
Thompson Cazzetta out of Spartiates Vieux is a top prospect on a team filled with guys who sit near the top or our rankings. Thompson Cazzetta is a powerful edge rusher who showcases the ability to win with power and violent hands. Cazzetta showcases solid pass-rush moves and can get to the quarterbacks. The best part of his film is his ability to finish plays with violence and does so consistently on tape. Thompson Cazzetta also plays the edge with good discipline – he holds the edge well against the run and does not bite or get lost against option plays in the backfield.
Danley Fenelon Danley Fenelon 6'5" | 220 lbs | DL William Academy | 2025 State CAD – Williams Academy
Fenelon, the highest ranking player who is not a new addition to our rankings has some of the best length and one of the best frames in this class. At 6’5 with a longer wingspan, Fenelon showcases the ability to win with athleticism off the edge. He is still growing into his body and gaining strength but he can get off blocks with his hands and showcases some natural strength on his bull rush. Fenelon has a really high ceiling because of his ability to move and his measurables and is easily one of the best players in Ontario.
Eda Otoro Eda Otoro 6'3" | 210 lbs | DL Harry Ainlay | 2025 State CAD – Harry Ainlay
Otoro who also goes by “Crown” is one of those Defensive End/OLB prospects who makes a ton of plays coming off the edge. Otoro has great upfield burst, his quickness off the ball is one of his best traits. He showcases versatility in the way he aligns with the ability to come off the edge in a two-point or three-point stance. As a pass rusher, he uses his quickness and hesitation to win around the outside. He flashes some power and natural strength against the run and will at times use his bend and strength to hold the edge.
Carter Stockwood-Izzi Carter Stockwood-Izzi 6'5" | 325 lbs | DL Holy Trinity | 2025 State CAD – Holy Trinity
Stockwood-Izzi is abig interior defensive lineman who uses burst and strength at the point of attack to wreck interior offensive lines. Stockwood-Izzi who is a two-way player is a solid offensive lineman but his burst off the LOS is a big reason I project him more as a defensive lineman at the next level. Stockwood-Izzi has solid hand usage and can get off blocks and plug holes in the interior. Stockwood-Izzi will play this fall with Holy Trinity in Ontario and is one of the top true interior guys in the country.
Xavier Brunel-Torrie Xavier Brunel-Torrie 6'1" | 250 lbs | DL Oak Park | 2025 State CAD – Oak Park
Brunel-Torrie for Oak Park is a solid interior DL prospect who showcases solid initial punch and plays with good leverage at the point of attack. Brunel-Torrie is a prospect who could rise up the rankings if he shows more explosive movements in his game his senior season but Brunel-Torrie is no doubt one of the more effective defensive linemen in Manitoba and uses his hands very effectively.
