[player_tooltip player_id='704794' first='Uriah' last='Neloms'], WR, San Tan Charter '25

Neloms is a fast rising prospect that saw his stock sky rocket this offseason, as he just landed his latest offer from Arizona, bringing his total up to 7. His frame itself creates a mismatch at the 2A level as he stands 6'4" 195lbs and combining his raw athleticism and ball skills with that makes him a genuine threat every snap. Right now, he looks like the best player in 2A and will only continue to burn defenses any way San Tan Charter needs him to.

[player_tooltip player_id='704791' first='Sir-Izzik' last='Caldwell'], WR, Tonopah Valley '25

Caldwell had a huge year in 2023 and was a massive part of the explosiveness of that Tonopah Valley offense. He put up almost 1,200 yards receiving with 12 TD's, and I think he's capable of putting up even bigger numbers this year. A 6'2" 185lb kid with a large catch radius and a natural ability to generate separation. Really good ball skills and body control with plus athleticism, and is prone for a huge senior campaign.

Kaleb Burras, QB, Heritage Academy Laveen '25

Burras is a dangerous dual threat that rushed for 1,491 yards and 23 TD's, showcasing his speed, vision, and COD frequently. Although Burras did the most damage on the ground, his ability to make it happen with his arm shouldn't be discredited either. He ended up throwing for 609 yards on 109 attempts for 12 TD's. A very impressive player that will once again enter the season as a huge threat.

Matthias Montijo, RB, Holbrook '26

Montijo is a rising junior that projects to be one of the most notable players in 2A as the season gets rolling. As a sophomore, Montijo put up 1,227 yards and 18 TD's on the ground and even took a kick return to the house. He's a solid player on the defensive side of the ball as well as he racked up 49 tackles and 3 sacks. He sizes up with a stout, compact frame at 5'7" 175lbs with excellent ball security as he didn't fumble once last season, and plays with competitive toughness.

Verne Wolfey, QB, Trivium Prep '25

Wolfey enters the year with big expectations after the impressive season he put up a year ago. A dual threat with the ability to dice up defenses with his arm, or tuck it and go and be a legit bog play threat on the ground. He threw for over 2,00 yards and rushed for over 1,000 last year, and added 39 total TD's. Athletic frame and build at 6'0" 195lbs with a really good demeanor and composure all around. He's also a standout on D where he raked up 63 total tackles in 2023.
