Since transferring into Desert Edge from Fort Wayne, Indiana Hamiel's recruiting has skyrocketed with eight D1 offers coming in this spring including five P4 programs. At 6'1” 175 lbs. he's an outstanding athlete with length, speed, and leaping ability (38 inch vertical). He's got a versatile skillset to be a difference maker from any position in the secondary. Plays with good pad level allowing him to quickly change directions and accelerate out of his break to close space on the ball. Flashes good natural coverage instincts and anticipation. At Safety, he shows he can process his reads quickly to diagnose run/pass and then trigger to the ball. He's got good range to cover sideline to sideline and comes hard downhill in run support. Strong one on one open field tackler that wraps up to the ground. Offers will continue to roll in for him and he'll be one of the top ranked 2026 DB prospects in the state.

Tucker has been one of the fastest rising recruits in the state this offseason pulling in nine offers since the new year. At Corner he's a dynamic athlete with speed, change of direction, and natural coverage ability. He's a lockdown corner that can play on an island in both press man and off coverage. Everything he does is instinctive, and his reactionary quickness puts him in the right position to make explosive plays. Short area acceleration and transitional speed allow him to match movement while staying in phase at all three levels of the field. Like his anticipation and route recognition to get an early break and make a play at the catch point. Possesses high-level ball skills using his body control and judgement skills to attack the ball in the air. Good tackler in space that initiates contact and plays his angles while maintaining his outside leverage. Another guy who will be ranked near the top of 2026 DB's in the state.

A lot of buzz about Lewis coming out of the Casteel spring showcase that resulted in offers from Kansas State and UTEP to add his three other P4 offers. He's an electric athlete with great versatility in his skillset to be an explosive playmaker lining up in various positions including both DB spots, WR, RB, and kick returner. He's continued to grow and fill out now at 6'0” 185 lbs. Quick in the hips he's able to smoothly transition out of his back pedal and accelerate into his break with good leg drive and closing speed. Runs well both in the short area and downfield. Flashes good eye discipline and play diagnosis skills to make quick decisive reads and react in the secondary. Strong ball skills, he competes at the catch point with good extension and body control. Recruiting stock will continue to rise with more offers on the way.

Brock is part of an extremely impressive group of young prospects at Basha. He flashed in spring ball collecting his first three offers from Central Michigan, Arizona, and Iowa State. He's got a long 6'2” 170 lb. frame with great growth potential as he develops. He's a strider with good long speed to be a vertical threat and force the defense to cover all areas of the field, was the only sophomore competing in the open state finals for the 110M hurdles finishing with 13th overall with a PR of 14.91. Plus ball skills, he's a natural receiver with soft hands and a large catch radius. He's able to adjust to ball flight and use his quick hands to snatch it out of the air. Like his ability to create positional leverage and establish a throwing lane for his QB. Expected to take a big leap entering his junior season when he should see more opportunities to show off his skillset. Won WR MVP of the PRZ showcase in April.

Waterman is another guy that was heavily talked about among college coaches after the Hamilton spring showcase and picked up an overdue initial college offer from Arizona State. Checks a lot of boxes in terms of physical traits with his combination of size, length, and mobility measuring in at 6'5” 295 lbs. with a 78 inch wingspan. He's an aggressive blocker with good technique in his footwork and active hand usage. He plays with a wide base and good leverage to overpower opponents at the POA. Heavy initial strike and drives his legs through contact to give him good finishing ability. Can drive defenders off the ball in the run game or sit down to anchor and absorb an oncoming rush. Does a good job latching on and sustaining his block throughout the play. A matter of time before his recruitment really takes off. Top Performer at the PRZ Showcase in April.
