Neill is a very versatile athletic interior mauler that excels in pass protection and is very technically sound. He bends well in his stance and snaps out quickly with a powerful first step and strong initial punch while able to drive defenders off the ball with ease. He shows good inside hand placement that creates immediate knock-back and also shows he can finish blocks at the first level and combo to linebackers. A very well coached prospect with still two years left in his prep career, he should be a next level guy at the guard position and draw college interest sooner rather than later, especially playing for one of the top programs in the nation.
Highlights
Rugnetta enters into our rankings WL in this 2026 class, and is going to be one of the better up and coming interior offensive linemen in the San Diego region over the next two seasons. He is a violent striker that snaps out of his stance and can get an immediate vertical push while also able to finish blocks downfield and pull when needed. He wins with leverage and a strong initial punch, getting under defenders and showing a strong base and solid leg drive through his progression. He is a still developing player that should be a very solid piece for Cathedral Catholic at the center position for the next two seasons.
The Monterey Trail prospect is a massive kid with a very strong build and plays with extreme violence at the point of attack and is one of the better interior offensive linemen in his class across the Sacramento region. He wins with a low hat off the ball and can consistently finish blocks downfield, while more of a in the box run blocker and excels at blocking in tight windows. At 300+ pounds, he does move well for his size and has plenty of Varsity playing experience for the Mustangs, and will be one of the better two-way guys across the line that the region has to offer this Fall. The rising Junior cracked our WL rankings, and deservingly so.
