Here are 8 of many that I will be tracking beyond high school.
Todd Robinson
Todd Robinson
Todd Robinson exploded this offseason and has emerged as one of the can’t miss prospects in Georgia for the 2025 cycle. Robinson lines up at QB for Valdosta, but this is your traditional “put your best athlete at QB” situation. Robinson is a gifted runner with the ability to take one to the house on any snap. He is very patient, squeezing running lanes and letting his blocks develop before he gets vertical. He possesses the speed to split defenders, outrun angles, and eventually break the tape. He pairs elite acceleration with elite breakaway speed, which allows him to beat defenders to the edge and lift off once he gets north and south. His exact position at the next level is still a mystery, but he can be an elite playmaker with the ball in his hands.
This offseason, TJ Stanley TJ Stanley 6’2″ | 210 lbs | QB Toombs County | 2025 GA has gone from a hidden gem in Georgia to one of the trendiest QB prospects in the state. He has 9 D1 offers to his name, including some FBS opportunities. Stanley checks plenty of physical boxes. He comes in at 6’3 210 and can absorb contact well thanks to his strong build. He possesses the arm strength needed to make throws all over the field, and is also a baseball athlete. He plays in a spread scheme and has several different throws littered on his film. If surrounded by the right supporting cast, Stanley can make his mark at the FBS level.
Highlights
Kheldon Butler
Kheldon Butler
Kheldon Butler picked up several FBS offers this spring, including a P4 offer from West Virginia. His play strength sets up the rest of his game, standing at 6’3 297 with broad shoulders and the horsepower needed to knock blockers onto their heels and push them back into the QB. He pairs his strength with outstanding pursuit skills, coming unglued from his position to chase the football to the sidelines and help funnel the ball carrier back to the middle of the field. He identifies against the run well pre snap, positioning himself and taking the appropriate angles to sneak by down blocks and get into the backfield. Butler won’t get washed down the line and will be able to hold his own physically at any level of CFB. If he can add more explosiveness and improve pad level off the snap, he would have the arsenal of tools needed to be a heavy contributor at the P4 level.
Nykobi Brown
Nykobi Brown
Nykobi Brown has been a chess piece in the front seven for Valdosta over the last few years, but he projects as a big EDGE at the next level. He moves better than most 250 pound guys move, showcasing the ability to play out in space and squeeze the offense thanks to his ability to run and chase to the sidelines. He has enough length and bounce in his feet to be an efficient pass rusher, finessing his way around blocks and has the functional play strength needed to anchor down and fight with his hands. He can set the edge well, playing low to the ground and staying balanced to avoid being washed out of the play. Brown has the size and speed profile to be a dynamic pass rusher, but his ability to drop back into coverage and chase the ball from the second level elevates his game even more.
Artem Korchagin
Artem Korchagin
Georgia State was the first to offer Artem Korchagin, which is a smart move as he is a prime breakout candidate this fall. Korchagin is new to football, only playing for 2 years and originally hailing from Russia. Korchagin is an impressive specimen at the C spot, standing at 6’5 315 with heavy hands and impressive athleticism. He plays with a clean base and sets well on pass plays, where he can battle while staying balanced. On down blocks, he can absolutely move people off the ball, and does it by quickly exploding out of his stance. He possesses heavy hands, which allows him to fold defenders. Korchagin could probably hold his own at any OL spot, but a big, athletic center that can move people off the ball is harder to come by.
Jordan Smith Jordan Smith 6’2″ | 185 lbs | DB Houston County | 2026 State GA has emerged this spring as one of the hottest 2026 prospects in Georgia, seemingly adding an FBS or P4 offer to his name every day. Smith checks the physical boxes at safety, listed at 6’2 190 with unverified 4.38 speed. He is an instinctual player and there isn’t a play on the field that he isn’t capable of making. He roams center field with the best of them, tracking the deep ball well, breaking on underneath routes, and flashing good enough ball skills to finish plays around the football. He looks to be a reliable tackler as well, quickly getting downhill and settling down before tripping up ball carriers. Smith’s size, speed, and instincts make him a prototype S for the P4 level.
David Coleman Jr
David Coleman Jr
David Coleman Jr popped his first P4 offer this spring from Florida State, instantly shooting up recruiting boards across the country. He is on the lighter side at 6’0 165, but he is a physical tackler and plays bigger than listed. His tackling ability is what jumps off the tape. When clicking downhill, he can dodge blocks and shed well for his frame. He strikes with good pad level, putting his helmet on the football and hitting with the force needed to jar the ball loose. He helps keep a lid on the offense as well by running down the football from the backside and taking good angles to the ball. He is decent in coverage at CB and has good ball skills, but I think Coleman is an eventual N/S prospect, where he can more frequently play around the LOS.
Jayce Johnson
Jayce Johnson
Johnson added more FBS offers under his belt this spring and is one of the premier 2027 QB prospects in Georgia. Johnson is a physical specimen, coming in at a cut 6’4 195 with plenty of room left in his long frame. His arm strength is off the charts, cutting through the ball with his natural, long delivery and throwing with enough pop needed to make any throw on the field. He is a good athlete as well, which will allow him to evade pressure and create yards of his own. With more experience and growth, Johnson has the ability to become one of the more talked about QBs in the 2027 class.
