After already covering the camp MVPs, I wanted to break down the top performers by position. With the offensive skill players already being covered, here are my top offensive linemen from Saturday’s camp.
George Luckett George Luckett 6’3″ | 280 lbs | OL DuPont Manual | 2026 State KY put together a very impressive performance on Saturday, bringing home OL MVP honors. Luckett is a big, physical offensive lineman who finishes his blocks with a ton of tenacity, resulting in driving his man several yards out of the picture or straight into the turf. He also showed the footwork to get into his pass sets quickly to mirror opposing defensive linemen. George doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player for college coaches to keep an eye on over the next couple seasons.
Lovell Martin Lovell Martin 6’0″ | 255 lbs | OL Frederick Douglass | 2025 KY is a player who has been on my radar for a while now and stood out in a big way on Saturday. Martin lines up at center where he is very reliable in pass protection, doing a great job of getting the snap off then getting into his pass set quickly to protect the quarterback. He showed the ability to keep a strong base while taking on contact and continue fighting to gain inside position with his hands. Martin also showed some impressive physicality when finishing his blocks, coming away with several pancake blocks on Saturday. Lovell currently holds offers from Kentucky State and Kentucky Wesleyan, and I expect more to come his way as he definitely has the talent to play at the next level.
Matthew Wells Matthew Wells 6’8″ | 375 lbs | OL South Oldham | 2025 State KY is another offensive lineman that has been on my radar for a while now and continued to stand out on Saturday. Wells is a massive offensive tackle, measuring in at 6’8”. He was very impressive during 1v1 drills, showing the ability to keep a strong base to not allow for much penetration into the pocket while also being able to fight for inside position with his hands. Wells also showed fluid movement for his size which he was able to use to mirror opposing defensive linemen. Matthew doesn’t currently hold any offers but I expect some to come his way as soon as he has received some college interest and has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.
Highlights
Sawyer Hall Sawyer Hall 6’1″ | 265 lbs | OL Breathitt County | 2026 State KY put together a strong performance on Saturday, being named one of the top five offensive linemen (along with the players mentioned above him). Hall was very impressive during the 1v1 drills, showing quick footwork which he used to get into his pass set to mirror opposing defensive linemen. He also showed the ability to finish blocks quickly with a ton of physicality, driving his man out of the picture with ease. Hall doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player to keep an eye on over the next two seasons.
My final offensive line standout from Saturday’s camp is Gavin Hinkle Gavin Hinkle 6’1″ | 225 lbs | OL Corbin | 2026 KY . Hinkle was very impressive during 1v1 drills against the defensive linemen. He showed a great ability to fight with his hands to defeat pass rush moves and maintain inside position. Hinkle also showed the ability to keep a strong base while taking on contact, not allowing for much penetration into the pocket. Gavin doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player who college coaches should keep an eye on heading into his junior season.
