26.[player_tooltip player_id='402415' first='Killian' last='Sombe'] 5-10 200 RB Central Catholic

UPDATE: It wouldn't surprise me to see Sombe be a top 10-15 recruit. He has the necessary speed to play a high level of collegiate ball. All eyes will be on him this season

Sombe had an outstanding year racking up 781 all-purpose yards and 11 TDs, while averaging 9.5 yards per carry. Much like his sophomore counterpart Davis he has a chance to fly up this list.

27.[player_tooltip player_id='1110964' first='Cole' last='Newton'] 6-3 210 TE Tualatin

UPDATE: The T-Wolves graduate a D1 perimeter so Newton will immediately be thrust into the spotlight with some big shoes to fill.

Look for Newton to play a primary role next season as one of fastest rising 26's in the state and the leader of a special Tualatin sophomore class. One insider called him a potential Mid Major TE just to put his talent into perspective.

28.[player_tooltip player_id='1112405' first='Kilian' last='Eddleman'] 6-1 210 LB Lakeridge

UPDATE: Watch his speed and anticipation on film while playing the LB spot and you see why he will rank as one of Oregon's top LB's. Playing TRL ball will be much more beneficial for the Eddleman's.

Much like his brother, Eddleman will be ranked among the top players in the state for his class, potentially making a big jump up this board. He earned honorable mention all conference honors and should compete for league POY accolades next season.

29.[player_tooltip player_id='770005' first='Makana' last='Brown'] 6-0 190 WLB South Medford

UPDATE: I would expect Brown to have a breakout junior year, likely being one of the top dual threat athletes in the conference. The kid can play.

Brown did a good job defensively this past year and projects as one of the top two-way threats in the South/Central Conference. Watch the film and you see outstanding closing speed with unique instincts.

30.[player_tooltip player_id='1110967' first='Connor' last='LaGrow'] 6-6 235 T Tualatin

UPDATE: This kid has the potential to blow up with his 6-6 frame. Top QB [player_tooltip player_id='285857' first='Nolan' last='Keeney'] will bring a lot of eyes to the Tualatin program over the next year, benefiting young standouts like LaGrow.

Lagrow has an outstanding frame and should add some legit weight. If he can continue to improve from a mobility standpoint, he has the size and intangibles to play a high level of D1 ball.

31.[player_tooltip player_id='402426' first='Traeger' last='Healy'] 6-1 190 QB North Medford

UPDATE: Definitely a kid to watch over the off season. If he can build upon his consistency and impressive overall athleticism, he will be a conference POY favorite this coming year.

Healy is one of the fastest rising QB prospects in the NW. He earned 2nd team all-conference honors, hitting on 71% of his passes for 1,796 yards and 17 TDs/7 INTs. He is a phenomenal basketball player and overall athlete.

32.[player_tooltip player_id='769991' first='Yahkyll' last='Noil'] 6-2 225 LB Lakeridge

UPDATE: The Pacers once again look to be loaded, with Noil being able to play multiple spots at LB, or come off the edge at DE and be a factor.

Noil comes from an impressive family. He had a good sophomore year, averaging 5.6 tackles per game, with 6 tackles for loss in only 7 games due to injury. Speaking on that he says, "The comeback will be vicious." Well said..

33.[player_tooltip player_id='402414' first='Kalani' last='Messenger'] 6-2 225 LB Lakeridge

UPDATE: I could see Messenger being a top 20 player statewide for his class. He has impressive film which showcases his size and speed.

Messenger has one of the fastest rising stocks in the 26' class. He added 30 tackles, with 3 tfl's, and 3 sacks, looking physical and experienced beyond his years. Watch the film and you will see his unique ability to read.

34.[player_tooltip player_id='1110957' first='Heath' last='Thompson'] 6-1 195 RB Westview

UPDATE: The Cats went 2-7 last year but competed with most teams. Thompson was a big reason they were in ball games. His combination of size and speed will have him listed among the top RBs in Oregon.

The 2nd team all-Metro RB had a breakout year, going for 976 yards and 5 TDs with a young line. Look for him to be a conference POY candidate and one of the top overall athletes in the state for his class.

35.[player_tooltip player_id='914284' first='Gavyn' last='Welch'] 6-4 250 T Oregon City

UPDATE: This will be a big off season for Gavyn after a good sophomore year. His 6-6 brother [player_tooltip player_id='511314' first='Brayden' last='Welch'] did well and has impressive size. If the youngest Welch continues to grow, he could thrive collegiately.

Welch had an impressive sophomore year, stepping in and looking like one of the top O lineman in the TRL. His honorable mention all TRL honors speak to his potential.

36.[player_tooltip player_id='402409' first='Hudson' last='Kurland'] 6-4 200 QB Lake Oswego

UPDATE: I could see Kurland being a top 20 guy. From a recruiting standpoint the move over to LO could help immensely, likely excelling in Coach Coury's system.

I could see Kurland breaking out next season and being one of the state's statistical leaders. He waited his turn behind 1st team all-Metro QB [player_tooltip player_id='858699' first='Drew' last='Nees'] and could thrive with the Apollos returning a litany of young talent.

37.[player_tooltip player_id='284120' first='Drew' last='Weiler'] 6-4 210 QB Lakeridge

UPDATE: Once again the Pacers have skill guys literally everywhere. Weiler will have an opportunity to showcase what he can do, distributing the ball to some of the top players in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1091594' first='Gabriel' last='Motschenbacher'] played out of his mind at QB this past season, so Weiler is waiting his turn. He's a big, physical athlete, who could thrive once he gets his opportunity.

38.[player_tooltip player_id='914278' first='CD' last='Nuno'] 6-2 180 WR Philomath

UPDATE: Nuno has a chance to rank as one of the top players in Oregon before he's done. He earned 2nd team all-state WR honors and honorable mention all-state DB accolades at the 4A level.

Nuno is really good and could make a significant jump up this board. He earned 1st team all-conference honors on both sides of the ball and will be an Oregon 4A POY candidate in the coming seasons. On the year he caught 52 balls for 828 yards and 9 TDs.

39. [player_tooltip player_id='777410' first='Roman' last='Mallard'] 6-0 180 Safety Jesuit

UPDATE: The son of former Duck/NFL vet Wesley Mallard. Roman started every game as a sophomore defensively and continues to up his game. The Crusaders graduate a talented 2024 class on the perimeter, so he will have some big responsibilities.

40.[player_tooltip player_id='914282' first='James' last='Wade'] 5-11 165 CB Central Catholic

UPDATE: Wade had a good sophomore year as part of a loaded Rams state championship team. There will be high expectations for him in the secondary this season.

Look for Wade to play a big role next season in the secondary and be a factor on the 7v7 circuit. His 14 tackles and 2 INTs are just a glimpse of what he could do in the coming year.

41.[player_tooltip player_id='402422' first='Rowen' last='Lewis'] 6-1 200 LB Jesuit

UPDATE: 2025's [player_tooltip player_id='1104022' first='Kevin' last='Keanaaina'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1104029' first='Sam' last='Hunt'] earned 1st and 2nd team all-Metro honors last year at LB. Lewis projects as that type of athlete as a junior.

Lewis is a D1 lacrosse athlete and could project there on the football field as well. He comes from a talented family with D1 genes and will be a Metro League defensive POY candidate.

42.[player_tooltip player_id='1059015' first='Justin' last='Craigwell'] 5-10 200 LB Sunset

UPDATE: Craigwell has the potential of being the Metro's leading rusher and tackler. From a pure talent standpoint, he's one of the best in Oregon.

The Craigwell kids can play some ball. Justin was a 2nd team all-Metro selection after averaging 5.2 yards per carry, while projecting on D where he finished with 100+ tackles.

43.[player_tooltip player_id='402410' first='Isaac' last='Reynoso'] 6-1 185 LB Glencoe

UPDATE: The Crimson Tide will make the move down to the 5A level, and Reynoso has a chance of being one of the best in the state and helping his team compete come playoff time.

The standout wrestler and LB has D1 genes, coming from a football family, with head coach and father Ian Reynoso starting on the O line for the Ducks. Expect Isaac to be one of the top defenders in the Pacific Conference next season.

44.[player_tooltip player_id='1110966' first='Trent' last='Dearborn'] 6-3 180 WR Tualatin

UPDATE: There are still a lot of unknowns when it comes to Dearborn, but the potential is there for him to make an immediate impact with the graduation of a D1 perimeter.

I would expect Dearborn to have a breakout junior season and play a major role with Noland and Elder graduating. Keeney showed that he is incredibly good and should lead a potent offense next year.

45.[player_tooltip player_id='402391' first='Asa' last='Lundberg'] 6-1 175 DB Grant

UPDATE: Lundberg has the potential of being the PIL POY on D, and helping the Generals bounce back, after losing their last three games by a combined score of 80-7 last season.

Lundberg broke out on the 7v7 circuit and followed that up nicely with a 2nd team all-conference PIL season. Look for him to do well as part of Team Lillard once again.

46.[player_tooltip player_id='402389' first='Andrew' last='Ramtel'] 5-9 165 ATH Mountainside

UPDATE: From a projection standpoint it's just a size thing. Ramtel is one of the best WR's in Oregon and could be a 1000+ yard receiver, with top 2026 QB [player_tooltip player_id='1232699' first='Cade' last='Mitchell'] throwing him the ball.

The Metro League's leading receiver as a sophomore. Ramtel isn't the biggest kid but he's an absolute playmaker, racking up 1st team all-conference honors, with 616 yards and 3 TDs.

UPDATE: Uitto has done well on the 7v7 circuit and Silverton will be among the favorites to win a state title this season. Look for him to be one of 5As breakout athletes.

I would expect Uitto to be one of the top two-way athletes in the Mid-Willamette conference next season. He went somewhat under the radar as a sophomore but should be one of the best in the league as a junior.

48.[player_tooltip player_id='770006' first='Joe' last='Stimpson'] 5-17 170 ATH Jesuit

UPDATE: People have raved about Stimpson and what he has done in 7v7. He will be thrust into the spotlight at Jesuit with some talented D1 kids graduating.

Stimpson hasn't proven himself on the field yet but plays similar to Gavin Packer without the results. If he can put it all together, he will be one of the most exciting athletes in Oregon.

49.[player_tooltip player_id='1043374' first='Parker' last='Gibson'] 6-2 200 LB Redmond

UPDATE: One of the fastest rising sophomores in the state. We've talked about him recently as a conference POY favorite next season, after earning 1st team all-conference and honorable mention all-state honors.

Mims earned 2nd team all NWOC honors after a breakout varsity season as a freshman. He accounted for over 40 tackles and 20 tackles for loss, with the Spartans reaching the 5A State Quarterfinals.
