FULL LIST HERE: https://prepredzone.com/oregon/rankings/2026-rankings/
1. Ansu Sanoe Ansu Sanoe 6'2" | 210 lbs | RB Lakeridge | 2026 State OR 6-1 210 RB Lakeridge COMMITTED: Washington
UPDATE: It will be interesting to see Sanoe’s progression after all his early offers. The 4* RB/ATH is currently ranked among the top players in the nation for his class so expectations are high.
The offers speak for themselves. Sanoe had a good sophomore season, averaging 6 yards per carry with 8 TDs in 8 games. Although as a freshman he went for 7.4 yards per carry and 9 TDs. I would expect an impressive off season and monster junior campaign, based on his current projection.
2. Rasean Jones Rasean Jones 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR Baker | 2026 State OR 6-2 195 WR Baker
UPDATE: After a breakout freshman season Jones led the state in multiple statistical categories as a sophomore at the 4A level. His 70 catches for 942 yards and 11 TDs during the regular season were #1 statewide. It will be important for him to prove himself against top competition over the off season.
As most know Jones broke out at the Les Schwab Bowl last season, after earning all-state honors as a freshman at Baker. His elite, nationally recognized speed, puts him in a special category and listed among the top receivers in the West for his class.
3. Lamarcus Bell Lamarcus Bell 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB Lake Oswego | 2026 State OR 5-11 190 RB Lake Oswego OFFERS: Oregon St, Nevada
UPDATE: One of the fastest rising athletes in the NW. Bell received his first D1 offer a few months back from Nevada and just landed Oregon St today, moving from the #5 to the #3 spot. He will likely add numerous other offers over the off season.
One of Oregon’s breakout underclassmen. Bell went for 1,116 yards and 11 TDs with zero fumbles on the year. He earned 1st team all TRL honors as a sophomore, and has elite speed, which could have him listed among the top RB’s in the West for his class.
4. Noah Tishendorf Noah Tishendorf 6'3" | 240 lbs | LB Lakeridge | 2026 State OR 6-3 240 OLB Lakeridge
UPDATE: This kid could legitimately be the state’s leading rusher if they put him at RB. That athleticism is what makes him so good on D.
Tishendorf was in the running for 6A Oregon POY honors on the defensive side of the ball to put his season into perspective. The standout OLB/DE was one of state leaders in multiple categories, making 56 total tackles, with 20 tackles for loss, and 9 sacks. A ridiculous stat line.
5. Sam Vyhlidal Sam Vyhlidal 6'4" | 205 lbs | ATH Mountainside | 2026 State OR 6-4 200 ATH Mountainside
UPDATE: From a recruitment standpoint a lot will depend on how much emphasis is put on football, while also being a standout on the baseball field. Regardless he’s playing D1 ball somewhere.
One of the top overall athletes on the west coast for his class. Vyhlidal will project at the D1 level in football & baseball. He backed up the hype in a big way this year, earning 1st team all-Metro honors on both sides of the ball as a sophomore. He accounted for 554 yards and 5 TDs offensively, averaging 7.3 yards per carry, while making 72 total tackles on D.
6. Andreas Nicolaidis Andreas Nicolaidis 6'4" | 235 lbs | TE Central Catholic | 2026 State OR 6-4 225 TE Central Catholic OFFERS: Colorado St.
UPDATE: Nicolaidis currently projects as one of the top TE’s in the West and potentially the nation for his class. If he can perform on the camp circuit against top regional competition expect him to blow up.
Nicolaidis is a physical specimen and will likely make a big jump up this board, just recently landing his first D1 offer from Colorado State. He had an outstanding sophomore season at TE, earning 2nd team all Mt Hood honors with 16 catches for 230 yards and 2 TDs.
7. Braxton Singleton Braxton Singleton 6'2" | 205 lbs | WR North Salem | 2026 State OR 6-2 205 WR North Salem
UPDATE: The biggest question mark here is how often he gets the ball offensively at North. His 29 yards per catch average as a sophomore (13 receptions for 375 yards) puts his talent into perspective.
Look for Singleton to be a big time D1 prospect. He earned 2nd team all-conference honors on both sides of the ball, finishing with 7 total TDs and two pick 6’s. He also ranked among the state leaders with 5 INTs.
8. Evan Wusstig Evan Wusstig 6'0" | 175 lbs | ATH West Salem | 2026 State OR 6-0 175 ATH West Salem
UPDATE: Kids the real deal. His brother Zach played as a freshman at Portland State and will be one of the best DB’s in the Big Sky. Evan has that type of ceiling and then some.
Wusstig was a 1st team all-conference kid on both sides of the ball as a sophomore, totaling 8 TDs and 48 total tackles. He had one of the most impressive seasons of any sophomore in the NW, and will project as an unquestioned D1 kid, similar to his brother who is in the secondary at Portland State.
9. Silas Reynolds Silas Reynolds 6'3" | 185 lbs | ATH West Linn | 2026 State OR 6-3 190 WR/WLB West Linn
UPDATE: The big and very fast all conference sophomore could end up a top 3 prospect when all is said and done. Reynolds has the potential of being a big-time recruit if he continues to progress.
Reynolds is a big physical kid who can absolutely fly. His combination of size and speed helped him earn honorable mention all conference honors at OLB as a sophomore. He will have the potential of being the top receiver in the state over the next two seasons.
10. Marcus Post Marcus Post 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB Lakeridge | 2026 State OR 6-0 185 S Lakeridge
UPDATE: This will be a big year for Post to solidify himself as one of the most talented DB’s in the NW. He could be a legit factor on offense but will project on D.
Most are aware of Post from his freshman season where he earned TRL All League honors on both sides of the ball. In limited time (5 games) as a sophomore he averaged 4.8 tackles per game with 2 INTs, also catching 8 passes for 125 yards. When healthy the sky’s the limit.
11. Jordan Hicks Jordan Hicks 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB Mountainside | 2026 State OR 5-10 185 RB Mountainside
UPDATE: Hicks will be a conference and state POY candidate the next two seasons with the Mavericks looking like one of the top teams in 6A. As good as he was as a sophomore he could thrive the remainder of his career.
Hicks had an unreal year rushing for 1,325 yards and 16 TDs. His 200+ yard 4 TD performance against Barlow set the tone for the rest of the year, earning 1st team all-Metro honors in the process. He is very similar to Bell from a projection standpoint.
12. Chaz Katoanga Chaz Katoanga 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB Nelson | 2026 State OR 6-1 170 DB Nelson
UPDATE: Probably the fastest rising athlete in Oregon with Katoanga jumping 28 spots from the last update. One of the top trainers in the West Alex Brink says, “It’s early but it’s hard to find physical tools at CB like his. He’s got a great frame, to go with good feet, and long arms. His basketball ability really helps him.”
Really like this kid’s game and ability to break on the ball from his CB spot. He has good size and is another athlete who could climb this list quickly. He rightly earned 2nd team all Mt Hood honors this past season.
13. Joe Weiler Joe Weiler 6'6" | 245 lbs | OL Lakeridge | 2026 State OR 6-6 245 T Lakeridge
UPDATE: Weiler is a good overall athlete who runs well for a big man. He’s added some necessary size and has the potential to be really good.
The very versatile 6-6 tackle had a great year on the offensive front, earning honorable mention all TRL honors. With continued progression and added size he has the potential of being a top line recruit within the region.
14. Donnie Vercher III Donnie Vercher III 6'2" | 215 lbs | LB Central Catholic | 2026 State OR 6-2 215 OLB Central Catholic
UPDATE: As much as anybody I expect Vercher to have an unreal junior season. He has all the tools and can run as well as any LB in Oregon.
The talented OLB had a good year for the state champs. His 14 tackles, 2 tfl’s, and 1 sack were decent numbers statistically. That said, as I would expect him to have a monster junior campaign. His combination of size and speed speaks for itself.
15. Vinny Arnold Vinny Arnold 6'4" | 220 lbs | TE West Salem | 2026 State OR 6-4 220 TE West Salem
UPDATE: There is still a lot yet to be determined here but Arnold has shown flashes of being one of the top players in the state for his class. Look for the 6-4 standout to be one of the top two-way players in Oregon.
Watch the film and you see a kid with legit size that can move as well as anyone. The Titans will once again be a conference title favorite in the coming seasons, with Arnold projecting as one of the top TE/DE’s in the NW.
16. Zach VandenBrink Zach VandenBrink 6'1" | 200 lbs | LB West Linn | 2026 State OR 6-1 200 LB West Linn
UPDATE: Look for Vandenbrink to have a phenomenal junior campaign. His brother Ryan was a 1st team all-conference kid on both sides of the ball last season, and he has that type of ability.
Much like his brother, Zach might be the best baseball player in Oregon for his class. With the Lions being loaded top to bottom this year he had to wait his turn. Expect him to be a 1st team all-conference LB the next two seasons.
17. Bryce May Bryce May 6'4" | 305 lbs | DL Cascade | 2026 State OR 6-4 305 DT Cascade
UPDATE: May could play at the highest level on either side of the ball. It will be interesting to see what happens from a recruiting standpoint, with the potential there to go under the radar playing 4A ball in Oregon.
Cascade will have the potential of being a dominant 4A team the next few seasons, with May projecting as a D1 interior lineman. He missed half the year with a hurt shoulder but could very well become a national recruit if he does well on the camp circuit.
18. Cade Mitchell Cade Mitchell 6'3" | 200 lbs | QB Mountainside | 2026 State OR 6-3 200 QB Mountainside
UPDATE: Mitchell has a chance to be special with his film speaking for itself. In limited time as a sophomore, he showed outstanding arm strength and accuracy, while possessing the necessary confidence of a top QB.
19. Quinn Wicklow Quinn Wicklow 6'7" | 220 lbs | OL Jesuit | 2026 State OR 6-7 220 T Jesuit
UPDATE: We will find out a lot this coming season. If Wicklow ends up 6-7 270 pounds as a senior, and dedicated to the sport, he could be one of the best lineman anywhere.
Wicklow has the size and overall demeanor to be the next special line recruit out of Jesuit. He will need to put on some weight and showcase some of the dominance which typically goes with a 6-7 frame.
20. Aiden Jakubauskas Aiden Jakubauskas 6'4" | 260 lbs | OL Mountainside | 2026 State OR 6-4 260 T Mountainside
UPDATE: I really like Jakubauskas‘ film. He will be key up front over the next two seasons with the Mavericks featuring one of the top perimeters in the NW.
The 3rd team all-Metro lineman has the potential of being Oregon’s top line recruit for the class. He was fluid up front with a quick first step, and as technically sound as any sophomore in the state.
21. Tyson Davis Tyson Davis 6'0" | 195 lbs | RB Central Catholic | 2026 State OR 6-0 195 RB Central Catholic
UPDATE: Davis jumps a few spots, projecting as a conference and state POY candidate the next few seasons. His abilities will be on display for all to see if the Rams continue their state championship ways.
Davis had a big season even while splitting time with sophomore counterpart Killian Sombe Killian Sombe 5'10" | 200 lbs | RB Central Catholic | 2026 State OR . He went for 993 total yards and 14 TDs on the year, earning 1st team all Mt Hood honors. The Rams have sent numerous backs on to play D1 ball and he could be another.
22. Carter Paul Carter Paul 6'7" | 260 lbs | OL Westview | 2026 State OR 6-7 260 T Westview
UPDATE: Another kid with tremendous potential. He has the necessary size to play a high level of collegiate ball if the mobility is there.
You can’t teach the 6-6 frame and overall physical presence. Paul had a good sophomore year on the offensive front earning 3rd team all-conference honors. From a projection standpoint it will come down to mobility and what he does over the off season.
23. Kalani Ioapo Kalani Ioapo 6'3" | 290 lbs | DL West Linn | 2026 State OR 6-3 290 T/DT West Linn
UPDATE: This should be a big upcoming season for Kalani, patiently waiting his turn on a loaded Lions roster. Look for him to potentially be the breakout lineman of the year in Oregon.
You will hear a lot about the big man over the next two seasons. Ioapo is incredibly strong and equally talented on both sides of the football. Him working with Normoyle up front is scary.
24. Oliver Luebkert Oliver Luebkert 6'2" | 170 lbs | WR Beaverton | 2026 State OR 6-2 170 WR Beaverton
UPDATE: I can’t say enough about this kids overall athletic ability. Watch him play hoops and you see why he is so good on the football field.
Luebkert has played phenomenal football the last 2 years, earning 2nd team all-Metro honors as a freshman and doing the same thing this season. The Beavers were 3-15 the last couple years making the accolades that much more impressive.
25. Angel Valenzuela Angel Valenzuela 5'11" | 205 lbs | RB Mountain View | 2026 State OR 5-11 205 RB Mountain View
UPDATE: Valenzuela will have the potential of setting numerous state records at the 5A level for his career. That said as it will come down to straight speed if we are talking on his recruitment.
It’s rare for any sophomore to be in contention for Oregon POY honors but that is Valenzuela. The 5A standout was one of the state’s most impressive athletes, rushing for 1,816 yards and 28 TDs, while averaging 7 yards per carry.
