Skylar Williams – North Murray
An under the radar dual-threat quarterback in North Georgia, Williams is one ofthe most athletic and dynamic quarterbacks you’ll find across the state in the 2A class. He ended his junior season last year as 2A’s leading passer in the 2025 class as he threw for a respectable 2,511 yards and 22 touchdowns. He’ll likely cut down on the INTs last year as he still has several months and all of spring practice to continue developing as a quarterback. Still, the talent and athleticism is easy to see. He brings good size at 6-foot-3 195-pounds and glides when he takes off down the field. He was terrific on the ground, rushing for an eye-opening 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns on the season. His biggest game came against Ridgeland where he totaled almost 500 yards through the air and on the ground with 7 touchdowns. He’s an exceptional talent and will be back for a giant senior season next fall.
TJ Stanley TJ Stanley 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB Toombs County | 2025 GA – Toombs County
A talented South Georgia quarterback who deserves some recognition after a giant junior season, Stanley is an promising thrower who stands tall in the pocket at 6-foot-3 210-pounds. A good athlete who plays multiple sports, Stanley showed toughness, poise, and the ability to throw a soft, catchable ball down the field. He can put some zip on the ball when he needs too, but he also throws with good touch and can hit his receivers in stride down the field. He connected with his receivers often, throwing for an impressive 2,402 yards last year with 27 touchdowns. He was efficient, got the ball out quickly, and showed he can take a hit in the pocket while delivering an accurate ball. His completion % could improve next year, but the numbers he put up were still impressive. He’ll only get better, and he has a chance to be one of the best 2A quarterbacks across the state next fall.
Cade Mcgatha – Pierce County
Another extremely productive dual-threat quarterback from South Georgia, this playmaking signal-caller was an effective passer, but he was deadly when taking off with his legs. An excellent overall athlete, Mcgatha was a threat to score anytime he found some room to run. As a passer, the 6-foot-0 190-pounder was efficient, accurate, and smart with the ball, throwing for 1,950 yards and 23 touchdown passes with just four INTs. He was a game-changer with his feet, rushing for an eye-opening 1,989 yards and 28 touchdowns. He was almost unstoppable on the ground towards the end of the season, rushing for 866 yards and 14 touchdowns over his final three games of the season, rushing for at least 250 yards and four touchdowns in each of those game, leading Pierce County to another state championship. Look for him to put up monster numbers once again as a senior this fall.
