Wayne checks into our rankings just outside the top ten within his position, and is a dynamic playmaker that can play both in the slot and on the outside. He can run very precise routes with good body control and can get into defenders blind spots with ease downfield while doing a nice job at positioning his body to box out defenders and track the ball in traffic. He is a sure handed receiver that can get over the top of defenders as well and win on 50/50 ball situations. He has recently transferred to Owyhee, and is a big time pickup for them and is in line for a monster Senior season.
Highlights
Todd checks into our rankings as the number two running back, and is coming off a stellar Junior season campaign and is poised for a huge Senior season. He is a quick twitched back that can make defenders miss in the hole, and shows he can run behind his pads, has solid leg drive and always seems to fall forward to gain the tough yards. He also flashes strong vision in tight windows, waits for his blocks to develop and can bounce it outside when needed while hitting a third level gear in the clear. Todd should collect D3+ interest through this off-season and through his Senior season, and is a no brainer next level kid that can help a college roster.
Highlights
Garcia is one of the more productive passers across the region, and shows that he can both stay in the pocket and deliver the ball downfield, as well as knowing when to tuck it and run with some open field speed and elusiveness outside the pocket. A true blend of a pocket passer that can also run it when needed, Garcia does a good job at moving through his progressions quickly and taking what is given while not afraid to take a shot to deliver the ball downfield, and can fit it into tight windows in the intermediate game. Garcia should find his home at the next level at the D3+ level, and will be a good fit in the right system.
Highlights
Steinmeyer is a big sized kid with a frame that should be able to pack on more weight through his prep career and into college. At 6’2 and change, he is a smooth runner with a big catch radius that can track the ball well over the top, box out smaller defenders and can win on 50/50 ball situations while a true threat in the red-zone for Marsing. He is able to move from tight and and outside receiver, and wins on strength, high point abilities and strong hands in traffic while also able to cover ground downfield and be a big target in space. Look for Steinmeyer to be the top target for Marsing in 2024, and build off of what was a strong Junior campaign for the rising Senior.
