Zechariah Wallace is no stranger to dominating 7-on-7 tournaments. Back in March, Wallace was the top performer at the Music City Mayhem tournament in Tennessee, for his play at the safety position. This past weekend, Wallace’s play on offense earned him another top performer award. Wallace showed out in his home state, displaying dominating traits as a wideout. He is a big, athletic player who can excel in the X position but also possesses the speed and versatility to line up in the slot. His ability to be versatile can stress the defense, causing a lot of mismatches. At the end of the day Wallace is a DUDE and should be set for a breakout season in 2024.
Hunter Mclaughlin – QB – Legacy U
2029 quarterback Hunter McLaughlin was another young talent who showcased a ton of skill at the Hoosier State Hustle this past weekend. McLaughlin’s ability to be a playmaker and create from behind the line of scrimmage set his team up for big plays. Despite still developing as a player, McLaughlin displayed a lively arm capable of making all the throws, as well as putting the ball on the money with great accuracy.
Ethan Abdulrathen – WR – 6 Points 13U
The 6 points 13U team faced the tough challenge of competing at a level up against the 14U teams. Demonstrating their worth by reaching the championship game was truly an impressive feat and the highlight of the tournament this weekend. Ethan Abdulrathen, playing at the wide receiver position, contributed numerous big plays for his team on Sunday. He made a plethora of crucial catches, keeping his team in the games and providing a surge of energy. He possess natural hands that allows him to bring down contested catches.
Mykell Tanner – WR – Top Flight Boyz Black
Good luck trying to tag off on Mykell Tanner when he has the ball in his hands. Even in a 7-on-7 setting, defenders are left grasping at air as Tanner effortlessly eludes them. Tanner is a nimble slot receiver who excels at short routes, enabling him to capitalize on yards after the catch. His ability to generate offense from the slot position translates seamlessly into many modern offenses. Tanner is poised to be a dominant player this fall with his skill set.
