Canadian prospects continue to impress as I dive into their film and watch different prospects across the country and I have compiled a list of some of the most intriguing quarterback prospects in the class of 2026. Not many 2026 Quarterbacks are getting reps in a starting role in Canada right now outside of some CEGEP rookies but there are a couple of prospects throughout the country that are extremely impressive and have the tape worth looking into.

[player_tooltip player_id='1219648' first='Rayene' last='Chiha'] - Dalbe-Viau

Chiha is easily one of the top Quarterback prospects in Quebec regardless of class and the signal caller for Dalbe-Viau has impressive tape and production. Chiha has great arm talent and he showcases the arm strength to push the ball vertically and make throws consistently at the deep and intermediate target area. Chiha showcases the ability to throw level 1, 2, and 3 balls showcasing his arm talent. Chiha is also a dual-threat style quarterback with the athleticism to not only move around the pocket but be a big part of the quarterback run game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1102705' first='Carter' last='Cook'] - Rutland Senior Secondary

[player_tooltip player_id='1102705' first='Carter' last='Cook'] has a big arm and a big frame. Out of Rutland in British Columbia Cook is one of the top '26 signal callers in the area where he showcases impressive arm talent. Cook has a very unique release where the ball comes out at a more sidearm angle. Cook is calm in the pocket and one of the most difficult quarterbacks to sack. There are multiple reps of him using his body strength and ability to move to avoid and break tackles on tape. He is able to keep his eyes downfield and make plays consistently showcasing some of the most impressive playmaking ability in the country.

Griffin Brennen - Nepean

Griffin Brennen from Ontario may not be the biggest Quarterback in the class at 6' 180lbs but he is one of the most efficient passers and could be the most accurate quarterback in the class I have watched. Brennen does a really good job of hitting guys in stride and making anticipatory throws all over the field. Brennen has diverse tape in terms of what throws he makes on tape. You see throws at all three levels in all areas of the field and Brennen's command and poise from the pocket making him one of the best distributors in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1219650' first='Justin' last='Royer'] - Chene-Bleu

[player_tooltip player_id='1219650' first='Justin' last='Royer'] out of Chene-Blue may have the highest ceiling of any QB on this list when you combine what he can do with his arm, his ability to move and make plays with his feet, and his measurables. Royer is tall and lean and he has quick feet to help him move inside and outside the pocket. He showcases the ability to throw with velocity and fit balls in tight windows will making tough throws down the field. Overall Royer brings a very impressive skillset to tape and has some traits that translate to the next level.
