Royer, the only QB on this list checks all the QB boxes, something a lot fo the ranked Canadian QBs fail to do. Royer has the size, arm, and athleticism while many QBs just have two of the three or at least only have 2 that would intrigue the next level. Royer has tons of tape that showcases the traits USports and NCAA programs look for at the next level.

Based on my evaluations Royer has separated himself a little bit from the other 2026 quarterbacks in this class based on film and recent performances. Royer not only has the desired measurables for the position at 6’3 and shows the athleticism to move and escape defenders in the pocket. Royer has the arm talent at the next level showcasing on film the ability to push the ball down the field with velocity.
Royer had an exceptional performance in the CFC prospect game where he was one of the top offensive performers and the most consistent quarterback throughout the entire game.

Royer is one of the most talented players I have watched so far when it comes to the ability to create and extend plays. Royer is tall and lean but showcases a physical style of running finesse and accuracy when it comes to putting touch on passes down the field. Royer sees the field well outside of the pocket and can make throws across his body to open space, his ability to escape outside the pocket and create time for receivers to get open is a strong suit in his game. While Royer is willing to extend plays with his feet past the line of scrimmage he does a great job of keeping his eyes downfield and making plays with his arm.
