My last two articles on 2024s in Canada will feature overviews of the two best position groups in the country which are the offensive and defensive line. The big guys in Canada continue to be sought-after recruits by both USports and NCAA teams as they bring size and athleticism to the table. Every single player ranked in the top 10 is an offensive or defensive lineman just showcasing how deep these position groups are. This defensive line group has two of the most coveted recruits in the country in [player_tooltip player_id='1210718' first='Farell' last='Gnago'] who is headed to the Big Ten to play for Rutgers and [player_tooltip player_id='1210716' first='Steve' last='Mboumoua'] who is one of the most athletic players to come out of Canada and will play at University of Alabama.

At 6'6 230lbs Savard is a long lean defensive end prospect who has the length and motor to make plays at a consistent level coming off the edge. Savard gets upfield with a burst off the LOS and showcases the ability to use his length to make tackles in the hole and from being on running backs running away from his side. Savard also showcases the ability to utilize his length to shed blocks and hold the edge when lined up outside of the tackle. A talented prospect with intriguing measurables.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["881369"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='881369' first='Liam' last='St. Jacques'] out of Clarkson Football North is a prospect whose tape I like. An interior defensive lineman who plays primarily 3-tech showcases the ability to hold the point of attack and anchor and hold his ground when being double-teamed. St. Jacques showcases some burst off the line of scrimmage and some lateral quickness displaying the ability to make plays around the LOS. St. Jacques plays with a high-motor and often can make effort plays in the backfield. St. Jacques may not have the biggest frame or be the best athlete on the field but he showcases consistent ability to make plays with effort and developed skills like quick hands and feet.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1240233"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1240233' first='Loic' last='Brodeur'] out of Lionel-Groulx is a physically talented defensive end prospect who has the frame and athleticism to be an impressive pass rusher at the next level. Brodeur often lines up in a three-point stance as a defensive end in a 3-man front. He has good strength at the point of attack and his upper body strength plus hand usage help him get off blocks both against the run and as a pass rusher. Brodeur is consistently able to get off blocks and finish around the LOS he wraps up and finishes plays with physicality and showcases the ability to make those tackles in space off the edge. Brodeur wins a lot because of his strength and athleticism but more refined hand usage and pass-rush moves would make him a dominant force at the next level.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":3,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-662e9d360ef3f"} /-->

Kaba at 6'5 300lbs. At times Kaba can play a little vertical and he showcases that he can work on his hand placement and burst off the ball. What shines through on tape is his natural power and ability to move offensive linemen. Kaba can eat blocks, which at his size comes to now surprise but his ability to move guys into the backfield and impact plays without making a tackle or touching the ball carrier is his best trait. He moves well enough to play right over the center out to be a really big 5-tech or defensive end. Kaba showcases some intriguing traits and has the potential to make a lot of plays at the next level.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-662e9d360efb1"} /-->
