Continue ReadingWise is a 6’4 2-sport athlete who’s already been drawing the attention of scouts from different program. He holds a handful of offers from schools such as William and Mary most recently, Navy, and Howard University. This season he had 500 yards and 8 receiving touchdowns. Wise is a weapon in the redzone, using his height to high point the ball and snatch the ball away from defenders. He has the athleticism and speed to be a deep threat and is used in the screen game by Decatur. With more touches and another championship run Wises recruiting stock has the potential to take a leap in a positive direction.
This first team all-county DB is a sure tackling safety that is a weapon in run support and helping set the edge. Manuel finished the season with 75 total tackles, 6 TFL’s, and even had 3 sacks. On offense he plays running back and recorded 340 yards ,9 touchdowns on 62 carries with an average of 5.5 yards per carry. With ball in his hands, he’s shifty and gets north and south in a hurry.
Bradshaw is a familiar prospect who’s been on the rise since seeing him compete at a camp in early 2023. Since then, he’s landed 2 offers from Army and Airforce. Defensively he had 72 total tackles with 8 TFL’s. Bradshaw also had 2 sacks, 2 interceptions for TD’s, 5 pass deflections, and a blocked punt. Bradshaw is a play maker on both sides of the ball, defensively he’s strong in pass coverage from the slot, and can make tackles from in the box to 40 yards down field after a catch.
Highlights
Henry is another 2025 prospect that play both sides of the ball for Decatur. On offense he’s a slashing running back, who use his quickness and agility to find a seam. Once in the open field he has the speed to take it the distance. From his safety position he comes down hill to support the run game and chases down ball carriers in the backfield when coming off the edge. I expect Henrys role to grow with the loss of a few seniors, his skill set is promising and has me looking forward to him showing off his quick feet out of the back field.
Chandler may be the most highly touted prospect in this returning Decatur roster, just last week he landed 5 new offers from Yale, USF, Arkansas State, and Villanova. Chandler is an athlete that makes big plays on defense, offense and special teams. He’s most dominant in the defensive backfield, he flies from sideline to sideline making plays on the ball out of zone and is physical against the run. With the ball in his hands, he turns into a running back whether it be after an interception, a kick return or, or when Decatur gets him the ball in space on offense.
