There are some 2027 DBs in Texas that we need to discuss. I have come across some guys that I think are going to be some beasts on the next level. Here are the guys that I think could possibly go D1. Our staff members have done a great job of being sure they are ranked in our system. Let's check it out.

[player_tooltip player_id='403868' first='Taelyn' last='Mayo']

Mayo is a 6-foot-4, 180-pound guy from Lewisville that we think is going to be a power five prospect. This young man has the height and skills to be a great safety over these next four years. You do not see a lot of kids that has his size at his age. Mayo has good speed with good ball skills. Mayo knows how to find the football when he is out there. He is like a field general in the secondary. He is definitely one to keep your eyes on.

[player_tooltip player_id='500502' first='Davontrae' last='Kirkland']

Kirkland is a player that comes from Waco. He is a 6-foot, 175-pound guy that has great skills. At this point, we know he is a guy that has a lot of talent. We do not know if he is going to be a cornerback or safety in college just yet. Kirkland is one of the most talented football players in the state of Texas. He has good speed and knows how to keep the football away from receivers. College coaches are already taking a look at him.

[player_tooltip player_id='409112' first='Montre' last='Jackson']

Jackson is a guy from Lakeview Centennial. This young man has some good speed for his size and age. Jackson is a player that we think has a great chance to be a safety on the next level. It is still too early to tell, but some of his characteristics are already showing that. He is a guy that does not mind being in contact, and he has some long arms. We have not seen what his hip movements are like. That could determine if he is going to be a defensive back on the next level or not.

[player_tooltip player_id='467882' first='Trenton' last='Blaylock']

Blaylock is a guy that has some good size. He is a 6-foot, 160-pound guy from Atascocita. He is a guy that is already getting some varsity time with his team. This young guy knows how to wreak havoc on the islands. Blaylock is another long guy that has good speed. We definitely think that he is a guy who is going to be playing division one football one day.
