Jaden Dobbins Jaden Dobbins 5’11” | 170 lbs | DB Anniston | 2025 State AL is a really talented defensive back out of Anniston that consistently provided lockdown coverage for their secondary last season. Dobbins plays really well at corner, especially on the outside. It doesn’t matter who his assignment is, Dobbins can really slow down opposing wide receivers both in man or zone and is able to make a huge impact on opposing offenses passing attack. Dobbins also has really good hands that he frequently uses to jar the ball free and intercept passes from opposing quarterbacks. He’s not solely a coverage guy though, Dobbins also has the ability to really impact the run with how well he tracks, reacts, and makes tackles on the ball carrier. Overall, he’s a really talented player that has a ton of potential to grow even more as a prospect. Recently, Dobbins picked up an offer from North Alabama- and with how well he’s played, he might be adding more to that list soon!
Cayden Adkins Cayden Adkins 6’2″ | 230 lbs | LB Elba | 2025 State AL is a dominant force on Elba’s defense. All throughout his junior season last fall, Adkins was a destructive linebacker that made a ton of impact plays both behind the line of scrimmage and in the open field. Adkins is a big guy with a lot of speed and acceleration at his size and position. Adkins uses this athleticism to create explosive plays from sideline to sideline against both the run and pass, and consistently is able to force turnovers all year long. All last fall, Adkins racked up some impressive stats- he ended the year with 120 total tackles (81 solo, 40 for loss), 7 sacks, 12 hurries, one interception, two forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries. With ridiculous production like that, it’s fitting Adkins is starting to see his name heat up in the recruiting world. Recently, Adkins has picked up offers from Jackson State, North Alabama, and more!
Andrew Purcell Andrew Purcell 5’11” | 185 lbs | DB Enterprise | 2025 State AL is an extremely talented defensive back out of Enterprise that has blown up on everyone’s radar over the last few months, and rightfully so- he’s a heck of a prospect. Purcell is a really versatile defensive back that has plenty of athleticism- he impacts opposing rushing and passing attacks really well and consistently is able to make impact plays in the secondary. All last fall, Purcell was able to lock up a ton of different talented receivers and easily broke up/intercepted passes against some really good passing offenses. Purcell is incredibly athletic and has great size at his position- he moves really well in space and physically matches up well against a wide variety of receivers, never allowing them to get the best of him downfield. Purcell has recently had his recruitment pick up big time- he’s picked up offers from Tennessee, Kentucky, South Alabama, and more within the last few weeks. Keep an eye on him heading into this upcoming season, he’s been a standout playmaker on this Enterprise defense!
Braylon Henry is a super talented defensive back out of Gardendale that made a lot of splash plays against the run and pass last fall. Henry is a physical defensive back with a lot of talents in coverage. Henry uses his size and speed to provide blanket coverage on some really good wide receivers. He rarely gets beat downfield, has a great set of instincts, and uses his hands to frequently jar the ball free and pick off passes as well. Against the run, Henry is a great tackler. He shows really good technique and doesn’t shy away from making big hits on the ball carrier. Last fall, Henry had himself a really good season where he recorded 43 total tackles (2 for loss) 10 pass breakups, one interception, and one sack on the year. Henry provides a lot of juice to Gardendale’s secondary and is able to really impact the game in a lot of ways. Keep an eye on him this upcoming season, he is set to have a big senior year!

It’s impressive watching him track down opposing ball carriers, he’s a relentless, dedicated player with a lot to offer.
