Greule has been starting for one of the top teams in the state for the past several years, and will have plenty of experience under his belt coming into the 2024 season, which should be a loaded front four for the Bulldogs as they look to repeat as CIF State Champions. On tape, he shows he can play both on the edge or kick inside as a 3-tech and has an explosive first step, strong initial inside punch and is very technically sound in the run game with a quick lock out and violent disengage while able to defeat reach blocks and double teams with ease. A true interior pass rusher as well, he has a quick use of hands at the POA while able to get underneath blockers and win with power rush moves and a high motor. Greule also shows he can redirect quickly and make tackles in space, while showing he can quickly collapse the pocket and track down ball carriers backside. Overall, he is a very technically sound defensive linemen that should find his home inside at the next level, and should have a huge Senior season for his loaded Folsom team.
Highlights
Zephaniah Sitaietasi
Zephaniah Sitaietasi
Sitaietasi is one of the more active pass rushers across the Sacramento area, and is athletic and explosive coming off the edge with very impressive short area explosion and closing speed from his defensive end spot. He shows active hands in pass rush situations, while able bend against taller blockers and work counter moves back inside when needed and is a sure tackler in the backfield who can track down mobile quarterbacks. He has the frame to continue to be able to pack on more weight as he progresses through his career, and has a very high motor. In the run game, he is a high IQ kid that shows quick block recognition against reach blocks/double teams and can redirect quickly when sniffing out screens/draws. With plenty of untapped potential and the ability to fill out his longer frame, the rising Senior should see colleges take notice through this Spring and through out his Senior season in the Fall.
Devyn McDonald II
Devyn McDonald II
McDonald is a very athletic prospect that plays both tight and defensive end for the small school power, and has shown that he is one of the more productive players across the region after coming off a stellar Junior campaign on both sides of the ball. He is quick off the ball with an explosive first couple steps, and can quickly get off blocks and chase down ball carriers backside with relentless pursuit. McDonald is still raw as a pass rusher, but relies on his quickness, natural bend and heavy hands at the POA to win one on one battles at the LOS, and could continue to develop into a 4 down defensive end at the next level as he packs on weight to his frame. Offensively, he is a mismatch nightmare against linebackers, as he does have downfield speed, strong hands in traffic and can go up and win 50/50 balls with ease in the red-zone. He is a no brainer college caliber kid at the next level, and should gather D3+ interest/roster spot offers as he continues through his Senior season in the Fall.
