Looking to continue that trend into next year, Seton Hall Prep is in a position to catch opponents off guard and become one of the most respected teams in the state. Look for these names to elevate Seton Hall Prep to the next stage in its maturation.
Arguably the most talented quarterback in the 2027 class, Kahden Davis Kahden Davis 6’0″ | 200 lbs | QB Seton Hall Prep | 2027 State NJ is quickly becoming a highly sought after prospect. Already receiving offers from multiple D1 programs, Kahden’s legacy is just beginning. With one of the most powerful arms in the class, Kahden stands strong in the pocket as he is able to deliver the ball anywhere he chooses on the field. While his arm strength is extremely impressive, what may be more so is his precision not only in the pocket but on the move as well. Kahden can deliver on target and on time throws regardless of his body position.

A prototypical linebacker, Justin Cook Justin Cook 6’0″ | 210 lbs | LB Seton Hall Prep | 2025 NJ is exactly what you look for in a leader on the defensive side of the ball. Compiling 105 tackles and picking the ball off 2 times in 2023, Justin flew all over the field has he disrupted every phase of an opponent’s game. A bullet into the backfield, Justin can sniff out a run early and find the open seam in the line to shut down the runner before he can cross the line. A perfect linebacker to spy the QB, Justin can close in on them quickly and make it a challenge to find any success when they attempt to scramble. Look for him to blow up plays all season long this next fall.
A crisp cornerback with an athletic build, Taylor Daniels Taylor Daniels 5’9″ | 165 lbs | DB Seton Hall Prep | 2027 State NJ sets the tone on the outside for Seton Hall Prep. With smooth movement in his hips and great ability to change directions, Taylor is able to get in and out of position very quickly and dart up field to take away the shorter routes from springing free. Out on the perimeter, Taylor is a solidified shut down corner as he mirrors the wide receiver well and stays glued to their hip as they head downfield. Taylor is known not only for his great pass coverage, but also pay attention to how well he is able to get low in his tackles and prevent the runner from breaking out for a big gain.

Currently the 2nd ranked DB in the state, KJ McClain is ready to climb up the rankings and take the top spot by the time the season begins. With the size to be an elite safety, KJ was able to blow up outside runs better than anyone in his class this past season. Making 75 tackles in 2023, KJ is a textbook tackler that shines especially in the open field. Fancy footwork does nothing to KJ, as he stays composed and brings the ball carrier to the ground swiftly. With some of the best footwork you will find in the secondary, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if KJ tallied over 100 tackles by the end of next fall.

Bryce Robbins
Bryce Robbins
A player that is in a position to step up and become Seton Hall Prep’s lead running back, Bryce Robbins is ready to emerge onto the scene in 2024. Built with speed and strength, Bryce accelerates as soon as the ball is within his hands and can beat the defender to the perimeter and proceed to outrun them down the sideline. To go with the speed is Bryce’s brute strength. He is a back I anticipate will get a ton of reps in the red zone and become a reliable short yardage ball carrier.
