Elijah Favela
Elijah Favela
Elijah can straight spin it. Game after game this weekend he was putting the ball on the money. Elijah is a combo guard for Judson’s varsity basketball team and his court vision translates very well to his field vision. This multisport athlete has great feet and patience to let the plays develop. He went from hitting slants and jerk routes to taking the top off with corners and go’s. This dude has a great touch that continues to serve him well on the football field. He even capped off the Championship game by switching to receiver for the last play of the game to catch a fade route in the end zone from Ty Knutson. His upcoming senior season is going to be fun to watch and you’ll definitely be seeing him ball on Saturdays in the coming years.

London Morgan
London Morgan
Remember the name! London Morgan from Rouse High School was showing off his arm talent this weekend. The ball placement that this sophomore possesses is a close second as far as attributes go when compared to his arm strength. London was able to fit the ball into windows that were open for a split second and his deep ball shows his touch. One play that stood out for me was a 3rd down where he was rushed from his right side, London was able to use his footwork to spin out to his left, square his shoulders and drop a dime in the end zone from 25 yards out. My words don’t do that play any justice, but it was the epitome of a highlight throw.

Tajari Wellington
Tajari Wellington
Tajari had a solid weekend at the Spring Classic. This young man possesses a fierce competitive spirit and a tireless work ethic that have honed his talent. This John Jay QB can unleash deep throws with incredible accuracy, challenging even the tightest coverage. His grit shines through when faced with pressure, keeping his eyes downfield and delivering strikes. As a sophomore he still has a lot of time to grow his skill set, but make no mistake, this dude can play.

Chase Chapa
Chase Chapa
Forget the flashy highlights; Chase is a master game manager, the conductor of the Primal offense. His intelligence allows him to dissect defenses pre-snap, calling the perfect routes to exploit weaknesses. Chapa’s pinpoint accuracy ensures the ball finds its target consistently, keeping the offense moving efficiently. While he may not rack up a bunch of huge plays, Chase’s ability to control the game, limit turnovers, and put his team in scoring positions makes him a vital piece of the team. On numerous occasions, I was able to witness him use his superb footwork to create passing lanes when rolling out. The Marshall Rams have a good one to develop over the next couple of years.
