The wide receiver position is in good hands based on the amount of talent that was seen in Broken Arrow in all of the age group.
Tray Moore-Wide Receiver-Southaven-2026
The Southaven wide receiver is a player that did a great job of creating separation all weekend. Moore did an excellent job of always being open for his quarterback in the tournament. Moore hauled everything that was thrown in his direction and made plenty of plays after the catch. I came away impressed with his route running this weekend. He creates enough separation to make the plays on the ball and haul in key receptions. He is a prospect to watch out for over the next few seasons.
Cooper Hooker-Wide Receiver-Hooker-2027
Cooper Hooker was available on Sunday for the tournament. However, he was getting open all day and earned MVP honors in the process. Hooker is a wide receiver that has impressive speed and he opened plenty of eyes with it over the weekend. Cooper Hooker is a prospect that made key receptions all day Sunday in route to racking up a championship for Sooner 7. Hooker is a prospect that I expect big things from over the next couple of seasons.
Chase Slater-Wide Receiver-Little Rock Mills-2028
Little Rock Mills is a talented football team that always seems to produce talent at the skill positions. Chase Slater is a prospect that uses his speed and ability to catch the football to create separation from opposing defenders. Slater did an impressive job of hauling in every pass that was thrown his way over the weekend. He is a wide receiver to watch out for over the next couple of seasons for Little Rock Mills.
Eli Brooks Eli Brooks 6'3" | 215 lbs | TE Bentonville | 2025 AR -Tight End-Bentonville-2025
The Bentonville tight has been a prospect that has made plenty of big plays over the past few seasons for the Tigers. Eli Brooks Eli Brooks 6'3" | 215 lbs | TE Bentonville | 2025 AR always seems to haul in the key reception and extend drives in the process. Brooks does an excellent job of being able to high point the football. He displayed over the weekend several times that he could haul in the big reception in the red zone. Brooks opened plenty of eyes over the course of the weekend and he is a player to watch out for in 2024.
Braxton Davis-Wide Receiver-Muskogee-12/U
The 12 and under group at the Sooner State Shootout was something I came away extremely impressed with this past weekend. Muskogee wide receiver Braxton Davis did an excellent job of hauling in receptions all weekend. Davis runs smooth routes and is a player that just knows how to get open. He has soft hands and looks the ball in before making a move. Davis is a prospect to watch out for in the future. He is a very impressive player.
