The Natural State as always did not disappoint with the prospects that performed at the Rivals camp. We are going to highlight a few more prospects that opened some eyes in Dallas last weekend.
Drew Davis Drew Davis 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Benton | 2026 State AR -Quarterback-Benton-2026
The Benton signal caller has had a strong offseason. As he heads into spring practices, he has put his strong arm on display week after week. Davis throws to all areas of the field with impressive touch. He displayed at the Rivals camp an ability to fit the ball into some tight windows. Davis throws the deep pass with good arm strength and accuracy. He can hit his wide receivers in-stride. Davis had a strong season in 2023 and I look for him to continue to open eyes in 2024.
Aaron Austin III Aaron Austin III 5'10" | 150 lbs | DB Bryant | 2027 State AR -Defensive Back-Bryant-2027
Aaron Austin III Aaron Austin III 5'10" | 150 lbs | DB Bryant | 2027 State AR is a defensive back that can cause plenty of problems for opposing wide receivers. He does a great job of making plays on the football while it is in the air. Austin III has no problem using his hands to jam opposing wide receivers at the line of scrimmage. He is another prospect that had an excellent showing at the Rivals camp over the weekend. Austin III is a prospect in the secondary to keep an eye on over the next couple of seasons.
Daniel Anderson Daniel Anderson 5'11" | 200 lbs | RB Bryant | 2025 AR -Running Back-Bryant-2025
The Notre Dame commit continues to open eyes on the camp circuit. He chooses his rushing lanes wisely when running the football. Anderson is a patient runner and allows his blockers to set up the blocks. He is capable of running the football between the tackles or cutting the run down the sideline. Anderson has good speed and is extremely shifty when it comes to breaking into the open field. He put those talents on display over the weekend in Dallas. I look for him to keep the momentum rolling into the 2024 season.
Jacobe Campbell Jacobe Campbell 6'2" | 205 lbs | DL Arkadelphia | 2025 AR -Defensive Line-Arkadelphia-2025
Jacobe Campbell Jacobe Campbell 6'2" | 205 lbs | DL Arkadelphia | 2025 AR is a prospect that will not give up on plays and looks to make every tackle. He gets off of blocks and can disrupt both the run and passing attacks of the opponent. Campbell pursues the ball carrier well. He does not miss tackles. Campbell performed well at the Rivals camp in Dallas over the weekend. Campbell is another talented prospect that Arkadelphia continues to produce each year.
Chase Hancock Chase Hancock 5'10" | 155 lbs | WR Pulaski Academy | 2028 AR -Wide Receiver-Pulaski Academy-2028
The Pulaski Academy is a wide receiver that opened plenty of eyes in Dallas over the weekend. Hancock does an excellent job of creating separation from opposing defensive backs. He is capable of running the deep, vertical routes with no problems at all. Hancock is a challenge for opposing defensive backs to defend. He runs crisp routes and mixes his speed with his route running consistently. Hancock hauls in anything thrown in his direction consistently. Hancock put on a show at the Rivals camp over the weekend. He has the potential to see playing time on Saturdays in the future.
