David Jacobs David Jacobs 6'4" | 195 lbs | DL Blessed Trinity Catholic | 2027 State GA Jr. – Blessed Trinity
Ranked as the No. 1 prospect in Georgia for the 2027 class, Jacobs Jr. is a big, physical defensive lineman with a lean 6-foot-5 2220-pound frame frame that will allow him to continue adding more weight and muscle. A quick-reacting, explosive defender with outstanding size for his age, it’s clear why this Roswell native has easy 5-star potential. This dominant defender is coming off a tremendous freshman season in 2023 where he made 74 tackles, 12 TFLs and four sacks. He was a reliable defender, especially considering his age and the position he plays. He’s built well from a physical standpoint and is strong enough to handle and sometimes completely overpower opposing offensive lineman. He hits with force and is quickly turning into one of the more intimidating defenders in the area. After an excellent first high school season, it was easy to leave Jacobs at the No. 1 spot, and he might stay there for a while if he continues to progress and develop the right way over the next few years.
LaDamion Guyton LaDamion Guyton 6'3" | 215 lbs | DL Savannah Christian Preparatory | 2027 State GA – Savannah Christian Prep
A truly dominant force and one of the top young pass-rushers not only in Georgia, but across the country for the 2027 class, Guyton is a Savannah native who is coming off an eye-opening freshman season where he made an incredible 82 tackles, 19.5 TFLs and 10 sacks. Playing alongside other talented defenders, this long, athletic outside linebacker made an instant impact at 6-foot-3 225-pounds. He stands out physically, and when you turn on the tape, it’s hard to comprehend that he’s just a freshman. He’s explosive off the snap and lived in the backfield last year due to his long frame and ability to shed blocks. He’s a high-motor defender and a tremendous young pass-rusher who will only get better over the next few years. He’s a big-play defender with 5-star potential, and he’s currently ranked as the No. 2 overall player in the state for his class. His talent and potential is easy to see. That’s why he holds early offers from Georgia, LSU, Oregon, Miami, among others.
Elijah Peeks Elijah Peeks 6'3" | 275 lbs | DL Cartersville | 2027 State GA – Cartersville
Another outstanding young defender who brings 5-star potential, Peeks is already a massive young man at 6-foot-3 295-pounds with natural raw strength and power. He holds the point of attack and does a good job of staying under his feet and not getting moved backwards. He’s a force in the middle of the trenches or can create havoc and penetration up the middle. He forces the running back to improvise and shows the ability to attack the quarterback as well. He’s one of the biggest and strongest defensive lineman in North Georgia for the 2027 class and could have every offer in the book at some point. This Cartersville standout has size, strength, and will only get better working in that program over time. The more in shape he gets, the better he’ll get over the next three years. He brings game-changing ability and should thrive in the middle of the Cartersville defensive line next fall as a sophomore. He’s currently the N0. 4 prospect in Georgia for the 2027 class.
