Braxton Kyle – North Gwinnett
A dominant Gwinnett County interior defensive lineman on the rise, this promising defensive tackle brings plenty of size and raw power at 6-foot-4 305-pounds. He’s lightning-quick off the snap and should force plenty of double teams next fall as a senior. After a big junior season where he made 55 tackles, 23 TFLs and 11 sacks, Kyle saw offers come his way this winter from Troy, Coastal Carolina, Kent State, Rutgers, App State, among others. He creates plenty of pressure from the inside which is exactly what college coaches look for. He plays with good leverage and knows how to shed blocks and swallow up the ball carrier. Whether he’s clogging the running lanes between the tackles or pressuring the quarterback, Kyle made his presence known all season long. He’s an impact defender and one of the best across Gwinnett County in the 2025 class. Don’t be surprised if more offers come his way this off-season. He’s a force in the middle, and he’s bound for a dominant junior season in the fall.
Ray Dixon – North Cobb Christian
We wrote about Dixon as an “under the radar” lineman months ago, but now this sleeper lineman from Cobb County could be seeing his recruitment pick up soon. This productive defender is coming off an outstanding junior season where he made 66 tackles, 23.5 TFLs, and 23 sacks to go along with three forced fumbles. He’s a game-changer with the potential to blow up any particular play in the backfield. He can eat space in the trenches, defend against the run, and still find a way to attack the quarterback consistently. He was just about unblockable last year and lived in the opponent’s backfield all season long. He has a nice blend os speed and power, but it’s his high motor that stands out on film. Now, his first offer has come his way, and it’s from Cornell. Not only can Dixon do his job on the gridiron, but he’s also a standout student in the classroom. He has a bright future no matter what he does at the next level, but it’s clear he’s talented enough to play football at the D1 level.
BJ Robinson – Kell
Another interior defensive lineman from Cobb County on the rise, Robinson made a big impact for an impressive Kell Longhorns program last fall as a sophomore. He brings some versatility and a promising frame at 6-foot-3 240-pounds. He fires off the ball and does a good job of playing with good pad level, knocking opposing offensive linemen off balance. He shows good leg strength and the ability to get off blocks quickly. Just a sophomore, Robinson was a consistent difference-maker on a very talented Longhorn defense. He’s a smart player who can reads the play and consistently does his job. If he’s not blocked correctly, he’s going to find his way into the backfield. This promising defender showed a lot of D1 potential and will be even better as a junior next fall if he continues to progress and develop properly. Expect him to be a dominant, dependable lineman again for the Longhorns in 2024.
