With that being the case, I wanted to give some exposure to some of the underrated offensive linemen in multiple classes. These guys have the talent to play at the next level with different styles and traits to choose from. Here are five offensive linemen prospects to add to your recruiting board.

Lee Academy offensive lineman Gavin Latham Gavin Latham 6’0″ | 280 lbs | OL Lee Academy | 2026 AR brings mobility and power to the position. Displays good footwork with lateral agility and awareness when pulling. Good hand strength and power with hand placement to create leverage on his defender. Active feet with an impressive motor until the whistle. His work ethic is a beautiful thing to watch. Add Latham to your board immediately.

Fayetteville offensive lineman Matthew Heckman brings athleticism that allows him to dominate in both the running and passing game. Heckman displays a quick first step with a strong initial punch. Impressive short-area quickness, allowing himself to reach the second level quickly. Good length that allows him to gain leverage and drive his man with active feet. Heckman is also solid in combo blocking. In pass protection, he demonstrates a nice natural balance while keeping leverage and controlling his opposition due to his impressive anchor. Heckman is someone that needs to be on your Radar this season.

Greenbrier offensive lineman Josh Thomas Josh Thomas 6’8″ | 310 lbs | OL Greenbrier | 2025 AR gives you impressive length, athleticism and power all in one. Thomas displays his mobility and lateral agility when pulling or in zone running. Demonstrates explosion and acceleration off the LOS with good pad level, hand placement and a strong punch. He’s able to create leverage instantly due to his length, hand timing and placement with good footwork. Good natural balance underneath in pass protection with a good anchor. Thomas needs to be someone you put on your board quickly.

Young is under the radar and someone you need to keep an eye on during the 2024 season.

Good combo blocking ability to double off the 1st level and work his way up to the second level. Plays with a good natural balance and football IQ to keep the defenders off of his quarterback. Someone definitely to keep an eye on during the 2024 season.
