With the ability to close in on the runner quickly, Rocco is able to decipher the play, see an opening in the line, and dart by the blockers to make a play in the backfield. I was not only impressed with Angelo's concentration to bring the ball in from afar but also in his ability to turn upfield quickly and prepare for immediate contact. Explosive out of the backfield, Jake can drive his foot into the ground and deliver a lateral cut that devastating to would-be tacklers. What stands out the most for Jake is his combination of speed and strength. He can turn on the afterburners when he gets into open space but is also not afraid to lower his shoulder and grind out a few extra yards.
