<p>The Prep Redzone 7v7 circuit made it's way through Tennessee this weekend as the second annual Music City Mayhem tourney took place in Murfreesboro. We had a great weekend of football and saw so many players at all levels making plays both days. Congratulations to our champions of the tournament! 502 7v7 out of Kentucky had a perfect weekend, capped off with the 18U championship. Slaughter House Elite is taking the 15U and 14U championships back to South Carolina. Legacy U won a defensive battle to take the 12U championship back to Ohio and NPA Green got the day started by winning the 10U championship.</p>

<p>We will have a ton of content over the next few days breaking down the action from the tournament. From player breakdowns in all divisions to photos and video highlights, Prep Redzone is committed to being America's Most Covered 7v7 Circuit. The coverage before, during and now after the Music City Mayhem is unmatched! Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone for more players breakdowns and follow our social channels for photos and video highlights! For now, we're putting that spotlight back on the 18U quarterback position. We broke down three of the <strong><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2024/03/music-city-mayhem-elite-18u-quarterbacks/">top signal callers in attendance earlier this week</a></strong>. More <strong><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2024/03/przmusiccitymayhem-top-offensive-in-state-standouts/">Tennessee signal callers were broken down earlier this week</a></strong> from our PRZ-TN man Chris Smith. Here are even more quarterbacks that caught our eye in Tennessee.</p>

Taylor put up some monster numbers last fall and has established himself as one of Louisiana's top quarterback prospects in the 2025 class. So needless to say, he was on the short list of signal callers we wanted to watch for a few games. He lived up to the hype. He made some incredibly difficult throws during pool play. After dropping their first game, Taylor and United Elite bounced back with two close wins to wrap up Saturday's games and Taylor was clutch in both of them. He's a name to watch moving forward.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["650014"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"2025 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='650014' first='Landen' last='Hensley'] took the field for Code Blue this weekend and they were one of the best teams in the tournament field on Saturday. They were one of a handful of teams that finished pool play with a perfect record and the one game that I saw Hensley and his team play on Saturday was their closest test of the day. Code Blue would beat fellow Tennessee program Team Grind Hard and Hensley was clutch down the stretch. With his team losing in the final minutes, Hensley led a comeback that ended with the game-winning touchdown pass. His consistent play throughout and poise down the stretch really stood out.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["227403"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"2026 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='227403' first='Mason' last='Griffin'] came down from Kentucky with his Next Up squad and he impressed us in one of the pool play games on Saturday evening, earning him u0022Top Performeru0022 honors. Griffin is a good looking quarterback from Kentucky that was firing some absolute strikes on Saturday. In that pool play game, Griffin made some big throws in the win over YOG Florida. Whether it was pushing the ball down the field to his playmakers or finding the open man and delivering a dart, Griffin could do a little bit of everything. He has a very quick release and is a quarterback in Kentucky's 2026 class to keep an eye on this spring and summer.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1196806"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Our final standout on this breakdown comes from Tennessee and he's the only eighth grader on the list. We didn't check in with every single player that played in the 18U division but we think it's safe to say that [player_tooltip player_id='1196806' first='Tate' last='Mathis'] is one of a few 2028 prospects that played up with 18U this weekend. Mathis really impressed us in one of the games on Saturday and after talking with him, we were blown away that he hasn't even entered high school yet. He was incredibly consistent and was making some big throws all over the field. Needless to say, for him to execute at that level against that competition, his ceiling moving forward is incredibly high.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":4,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-660566a5df4a5"} /-->
