The Prep Redzone 7v7 circuit made it’s way through Tennessee this weekend as the second annual Music City Mayhem tourney took place in Murfreesboro. We had a great weekend of football and saw so many players at all levels making plays both days. Congratulations to our champions of the tournament! 502 7v7 out of Kentucky had a perfect weekend, capped off with the 18U championship. Slaughter House Elite is taking the 15U and 14U championships back to South Carolina. Legacy U won a defensive battle to take the 12U championship back to Ohio and NPA Green got the day started by winning the 10U championship.
We will have a ton of content over the next few days breaking down the action from the tournament. From player breakdowns in all divisions to photos and video highlights, Prep Redzone is committed to being America’s Most Covered 7v7 Circuit. The coverage before, during and now after the Music City Mayhem is unmatched! Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone for more players breakdowns and follow our social channels for photos and video highlights! For now, we’re putting that spotlight on three of the very best quarterbacks that we saw in Tennessee. All three should be playing on Saturday in the future.
Our first elite quarterback featured in this breakdown is one that we told you about heading into the tournament in Tennessee. 2025 signal caller Deuce Bailey Deuce Bailey 6’1″ | 170 lbs | QB Bowling Green | 2025 State KY played for Indy Select South and absolutely lived up to the hype he had coming into the weekend. I got a chance to watch Bailey up close for several games between Saturday and Sunday. The first thing that stands out is his lightning quick delivery. When the ball is coming out, it gets out in a hurry and the accuracy was off the charts. Bailey always remained calm, cool and collected throughout the weekend and rarely made any mistakes. After watching him in person, combined with what we already knew about him (multiple D1 offers, 3,500 yards & 43 touchdowns last fall) we have no doubt that he’s one of the top quarterbacks in Kentucky’s 2025 class. He has a lot of the pure passing tools that you want in a next level quarterback prospect.
Highlights
Speaking of living up to the hype, 2026 signal caller Terry Walker Terry Walker 6’2″ | 165 lbs | QB IN III came down from Indiana with the TFP Flite Boyz and did just that. Looking at our PRZ-Indiana site, Walker currently ranks as the #1 quarterback prospect and in fact, he’s the #1 overall prospect in the state’s 2026 class. Similar to Bailey, I got a chance to watch Walker go to work for several games this weekend and we can see why the ceiling is so high with him moving forward. Everything Walker does was incredibly smooth. And similar to Bailey, we rarely saw Walker make any mistakes and he was always poised when running the offense. The accuracy and touch on the deep ball was something that really impressed us and he made quite a few of them. Walker has good size and as he continues to develop, his ceiling as a prospect is going to continue to rise. There wasn’t much to knock about his game this weekend in Tennessee.
Highlights
Our final quarterback is 2025 signal caller Tillman Martin Tillman Martin 6’4″ | 200 lbs | QB Liberty North | 2025 State MO from the Kansas City-based program STFFA. I’ve seen Martin in person a few times over the last 14 months at various 7v7 tournaments but this weekend was the first time I’ve had a chance to really watch him throw the football for an extended period of time. I’ve seen all I need to see. Martin was right there at the top of the list in terms of best quarterbacks in attendance and he might have had the strongest arm of anyone in the entire tournament. It’s absolutely mind-blowing that Martin is still waiting on his first offer. He’s a state champion quarterback with a rocket launcher for an arm, he makes difficult throws look easy and the ball rarely hit the turf after it left his hand. He checks the boxes physically and made multiple throws on Sunday that were jaw-dropping. Coaches are missing out right now and that needs to change immediately.
