These guys have the talent to play at the next level with different styles and traits to choose from. Here are five linebacker prospects to add to your recruiting board.

Marion linebacker Zimran Phelix displays a high motor, playing sideline-to-sideline allowing himself to make a play on the ball consistently. Phelix is a versatile athlete, able to move around multiple positions with athleticism. Good read and react ability, attacking downhill consistently with physicality. Good open field tackler, keeping everything underneath. Phelix demonstrates good football IQ which allows him to be put into any defensive scheme. He is someone to add to your recruiting board soon.

Pulaski Academy linebacker Kaden Nash plays with a high motor, sideline to sideline ability with athleticism. Nash is a hart nose, physical and consistent tackler while displaying good read and react ability in the second level. Good feel in zone coverage, keeping routes underneath while being a disruptor at all levels of the field. He’s a do it all linebacker and someone you should keep an eye on during the 2024 season.

Fayetteville linebacker Rhett Tidwell Rhett Tidwell 5’11” | 220 lbs | LB Fayetteville | 2025 AR brings you a sideline-to-sideline motor, consistently playing around the ball. Quick first step with good read and react ability. Tidwell attacks blockers really well, using pad level and his use of hands to disengage and make a tackle. Good feel in zone coverage, keeping everything underneath or locking down anything that tries to cross his face. Solid speed that plays with physicality and high football IQ. Tidwell is a Mike you want leading your defense.

In the passing game, he’s able to stick with his man in man coverage or transition smoothly against routes coming across his face in zone coverage. His effort and athleticism are something you want at the next level.

In the passing game, his ability to lockdown the middle of the field is impressive. Showing good read and reaction, breaking on the ball quickly. In the running game, he does the same thing, he quickly identifies and attacks downhill while making a play in the backfield or at the LOS. Plays with a sideline-to-sideline type of motor. Good tackler in space, someone you can move around in the box. He is a riser and someone to add to your board.
