Well, after several hours of checking out film and evaluating players, we finally have our PRZNE Class of 2026 Spring Update. This update was a big one for the Class of 2026, as we are starting to see players build up their prep resumes and put together a stronger body of work on tape. This is still a tough time to evaluate sophomores, mainly because of how players are spread between JV teams and have varying levels of varsity experience. Some players are coming off their second season putting up big numbers, while other prospects might be waiting behind elite upperclassmen.
With all eyes on the coveted #1 spot, we made sure to be meticulous with our evaluations. After the dust had settled, Millard South WR Amarion Jackson Amarion Jackson 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Millard South | 2026 State NE emerged as the top prospect in the class. Amarion’s crisp route-running, elite hands, breakout sophomore season (1,000 receiving yards + 12 TDs), recruiting momentum (Minnesota and Illinois offer), and monstrous upside helped him gain the edge for the #1 spot.
Here is how the rest of the Top 20 shook out: #2 DaShawn Prince DaShawn Prince 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR Omaha Central | 2026 State NE (WR – Omaha Central), #3 Isaac Jensen Isaac Jensen 6'6" | 210 lbs | TE Millard South | 2026 State NE (TE – Millard South), #4 Araf Evans Jr. Araf Evans Jr. 6'1" | 185 lbs | DB Millard North | 2026 State NE (DB/ATH – Millard North), #5 Jett Thomalla Jett Thomalla 6'4" | 185 lbs | QB Millard South | 2026 State NE (QB – Millard South), #6 Kaprice Keith Kaprice Keith 6'2" | 175 lbs | DB Bellevue West | 2026 State NE (DB/ATH – Bellevue West), #7 Landen Von Seggern Landen Von Seggern 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL Millard South | 2026 State NE (OL – Millard South), #8 Carter Glab Carter Glab 6'3" | 250 lbs | OL Millard South | 2026 State NE (OL – Millard South), #9 Max Clark Max Clark 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Omaha North | 2026 State NE (LB/EDGE – Omaha North), #10 Eli Johnson Eli Johnson 6'3" | 210 lbs | TE Omaha Westside | 2026 State NE (TE – Omaha Westside), #11 Owen James Owen James 6'3" | 240 lbs | OL Omaha Westside | 2026 State NE (OL – Omaha Westside), #12 Jase Reynolds Jase Reynolds 6'2" | 175 lbs | LB Elkhorn North | 2026 State NE (LB – Elkhorn North), #13 Logan Holtmeyer Logan Holtmeyer 6'0" | 250 lbs | DL Papillion-La Vista | 2026 State NE (DL – Papillion-La Vista), #14 Marquise McIntyre-Dailey Marquise McIntyre-Dailey 6'3" | 235 lbs | DL Omaha North | 2026 State NE (DL/EDGE – Omaha North), #15 Jaydon Sutko Jaydon Sutko 6'1" | 200 lbs | RB Elkhorn South | 2026 State NE (RB – Elkhorn South), #16 Jerry Jackson Jr. Jerry Jackson Jr. 6'0" | DL Omaha Central | 2026 State NE (DL – Omaha Central), #17 Jaron Cannon Jr Jaron Cannon Jr 5'10" | 170 lbs | RB Omaha North | 2026 State NE (RB – Omaha North), #18 BJ Louis BJ Louis 6'1" | 210 lbs | LB Omaha North | 2026 State NE (LB – Omaha North), #19 Owen Sutter Owen Sutter 6'3" | 225 lbs | TE Yutan | 2026 State NE (TE – Yutan), and #20 Alex Uchtman Alex Uchtman 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Elkhorn North | 2026 State NE (DB – Elkhorn North).
In total, our 2026 list of prospects features 365 total players, with 145 ranked players and 220 players on our watchlist.
This is just a reminder to players who did not make the rankings or did not agree with their rankings: Nothing is set in stone at this point in your prep careers. The rankings will change several times from now until the end of the year, allowing for several opportunities to make your presence known.
The best ways to get on our radar and make sure you get added to our list at the next update include putting out a season tape (a few clips work but will still only give us a small sample), attending camps/showcases (PRZ Combine Series registration), college camps, and big performances in other events like 7v7 or track.
