Many of these prospects are the best at their position nationally and are already receiving attention from top college programs. From Tallahassee,Jacksonville, and Miami these prospects are going to make each of their high school programs better this fall.
Asher Ghioto is in my opinion the best Defensive linemen in the class of 2028 in the state of Florida and one of the best nationally. At 6’4 235 pounds Ghioto has the strength and ability to make a big impact this fall at Bartram Trail High School. Every month it seems like this kid just keeps getting bigger and stronger. He was a captain in this year’s UA 8th grade All American game and balled out like I knew he would. Ghioto holds a 4.0 GPA and has every attribute needed to be a highly sought after prospect that every college coach will be offering very soon. He’s recently visited multiple in- state programs like Miami, Florida, and Florida State. Very bright future ahead for Ghioto.

Steven Moore is the best linebacker in his class in the state and probably one of the best in the country. The 6’0 215 pound prospect who played varsity football at True North Classical last season is playing at Miami Central this fall, one of Florida’s best high school programs. Moore is the real deal and 11 college programs already agree by giving him an offer. The top prospect will be able to choose from any school as offers continue to roll in. Having D1 genes from his dad (FSU) and brother (FAU), Moore has 4 years to continue to raise his stock and be next.

Ryan McPhun Jr is a must see prospect out of Tru Prep Academy. Recently received defensive MVP at UA Next Camp series and has been putting in a lot of work from what i’ve seen. I’ve said this before but it’s hard to do what he did as an 8th grader playing varsity football but it’s even harder in South Florida and specifically Miami. Along with his 5’11 180 pound frame McPhun is smart (3.7 GPA), physical, strong, and quick. This is a prospect that does everything extremely well and as he puts on some more mass and with 4 more years of varsity competition will be a top Linebacker in the state by the time 2028 rolls around.

Jaylon Jones is representing Tallahassee well for the class of 2028. The 6’2 155 pound Linebacker prospect played in the UA 8th grade game to end 2023. He received MVP from UA Next camp series last month as well. Jones has great height and long arms for the position. Hoping to see him put on some weight heading into this fall which will raise his stock even more. Really excited about him continuing to develop and showing what he can do as he will attend Gadsden County High School in the fall.
